Hi guys and girls, I figured I'd make a introduction and build thread in one. Many of you know me, many of you don't. My name is Ando, I am located in Tennessee and I drive a 2013 Blue Raspberry Metallic GE8 SPORT. I have a lot of plans for it in the future. I am in the process of collecting K20/K24 parts for it right now. But for now I will list everything that is on my car or is in my possession.

First we will go over how it sits right now. (I did buy this Fit brand new off the lot) I am currently on Buddy Club N+ coil overs I bought from Nelson a long time ago that use to also have a Blue Raspberry Metallic GE8. My car is at 60,000 miles the coil overs are at maybe 85,000 and still holding strong considering this is my daily driver.

I also am on 17x7.5 +45 all around Volk Racing TE37's. My tires are 205/40/17 with little rub on the fenders considering I am as low as I can go on the Buddy Club coil overs.

I have a carbon fiber wrap on my fenders and hood to hid rock chips and imperfections lol. I have a Honda Fit Shuttle Modulo Grill. (I purchased from Ryan AKA xxryu139xx) I have a Mugen Rear lip with center piece cut out. (I am personally crazy for doing that but I think it looks more aggressive) I also purchased a Admiration Hybrid front lip from buyee.jp (The fitment is perfect by the way if you fellas were wondering) And I also installed Nissan Altima LED Puddle Lights on my GE8. They are tapped into the interior ambient light that you can purchase from Honda as an accessory.












The rear diffuser is a Top One brand and is currently off due to too much scraping. The J's Racing all clear Stellar V tail lights have been gone and were sold to Eddie AKA FitDeez.(I do miss them) And my Work Meisters were sold for K20/K24 Parts.

On to my interior!

It is mostly stock for now with a few changes. I have JDM illuminated kick plates that I purchased from Howard AKA BMW Alpina.

I modded my Honda Access Ambient Interior Lights with Nissan Maxima LED Interior Lights.(Because Nissan's changes 20 different colors and are most def brighter) I also drilled 2 holes into my cup holders to place LED lights into them like the Nissan Maxima's. I routed the switch for it next to the power outlet by the cupholders.

I am running a ASR Dog Bone shifter that I purchased from JHPUSA.com and a RSX shift knob.

I also have Mugen Floor Mats that aren't in my car.

Seeker Japan GE8 Gauge Pods for 60mm Defi guages. WARNING: THIS IS A RHD PRODUCT BUT I WILL MAKE IT WORK.

I finally got around to installing my Wilwood 4POT Brake Kit I ordered from JHPUSA for $430 Shipped on Black Friday.

Second, your built actually inspire me too and I need some advice/guidance from you.

May I know what kind of part or part number needed to upgrade to Nissan Maxima LED Interior Lights, I am very interested after you point out that The Nissan's changes 20 different colors and are most def brighter, perhaps you can post a DIY here

Also on the second picture above, what is the function of the lighted square switch on the right side of the cigarette lighter?

And LAST and MOST IMPORTANT !!!
I had been looking at that JDM Seeker Triple Gauge for a LONG LONG TIME...
I even had ask several company if they are willing to make a MIRROR IMAGE Copy of it, and some of them say yes but they ask for LARGE Quantity...

so if you are confident that you can make it work for our LHD car,
Please kindly post it here on how you do it...
I really want to do the same thing... because I am in desperate need for more gauge pod that can fit Defi 60mm Gauges

Welcome! You're GE is one of the cleanest around. Especially with the 12-13 front bumper.

I wanted to ask about the front lip you have. You said the mounting lined up perfectly, which is great to hear! If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay with shipping? Also how was buying from buyee.jp? I have used Rakuten for my JDM purchases and have never really had an issue, except with the language barrier.

Any more info you can share on the lip would be appreciated!

Also if you ever decided to go mugen grill I think it would great with your set up!

The language barrier sucks on Buyee and Rakuten, but from my experience the customer service is great if you can get them to understand you lol. You're going to laugh but I payed $300 for the lip and $650 for shipping. I was determined to have this lip. But I can't complain, I love it and it fits perfect!

I have looked into a Mugen Fit Shuttle Grill and also have considered it. It's not on my top "wants" list at the moment. I got my eyes on Recaro's and J's Racing parts at the moment.

 

Ouch shipping is brutal! But it is so worth it! Yeah language barrier isn't fun, I wish I knew someone who reads/writes Japanese.

That's cool too, which J's part are you looking at, if I may ask?

 

I have a few friends in Japan that help me out. That's how I got my Seeker gauge pods. Shipping is honestly not bad unless its an oddly shaped box. I'm currently looking at the J's Racing wing and another set of Stellar V all clear tail lights. I miss my old tail lights lol. After those purchases, I probably will get all the crazy suspension parts that they make for the GE8.

 

wasn't impressed with your old stella vs. was expecting better build quality as some of the red leds were buggin out. trust me i've seen them in person!

 

Really? I haven't heard of any issues or seen any issues from them.

 

i was like hey 3 of the red leds are out... he wiggles the harness and they came back on. lol

The K24 build is going to take me all year to build as I am collecting parts here and there for it and I will throw it all in at once. But as for right now I will collect little nick nacks to my GE8 till the time is right! Here's an update of what it looks like right now. (Lip is off because ride height too low) I recently tinted my windows 20% and bought OEM Honda Window Visors. I didn't want to buy Mugen Visors because I couldn't see myself spending $300+ for visors compared to $50 OEM Honda. I also purchased a Buddy Club Seat rail from Andrew AKA FittedOnEM AKA Fitipino AKA SushiRolle because he is moving on to better things in life. (forever my MCM lol)

 

Man great Fit =) Definitely wish I could have found this color in manual when i was searching. Its just so clean/different.

As for that lip, great to hear that it fits perfectly. I am looking at a mugen lip for the access/fit shuttle and have seen people do the modulo valence/lips but never a full lip. Seeing you'res makes me want one even more for my 2013.

You mention it is currently off the car. I'd imagine the bottom attaches with hardware, does it use 3m tape on the curved surfaces? Thanks again and sweet ride. =)

 

3m Tape across the top of all the curved surfaces and 2 pushpins on underneath the lip.
