2012 Fit Sport wheels

I have a 2011 Fit Sport with the stock Honda 7 spoke aluminum wheels and stock tire size but have a chance to get a set of stock 2012 Sport rims with 205-50-16 tires ..will these fit without issue?(rubbing or bottoming out)

Yes, you can put 205/50-16 tires on the stock Sport rims but you might not like the results.

The stock rims are 6" wide and because the rim wasn't wide enough for the wider tires, it felt like the car was wiggling around [a scientific term ]. I bought 7" wide 16" wheels and the side-to-side wiggle was reduced.

I guess on a too narrow of a wheel the tire's sidewalls flex too much side-to-side. Just the opposite of stretching narrow tires on wide rims. My 2 cents

OK thanks for the reply ..do wheels also interchange without issue between 2012 to 2011?

You have to get the right offset to keep them from rubbing inside / outside. I bought cheap-o 16"x7" Focal F-10 (not for sale anymore). I believe they had an offset of +42.

When searching Focal again, it seems like they got a good deal on black paint - all their wheels are black.

I didn't change my suspension (stock) and it never rubbed but I did add mudflaps (f / r) because the 205/50-16 do stick out a little further.

The other thing to consider is cleaning. If you get spoke wheels that have crazy curves, a lattice of interconnecting spokes, or dual spokes (tight together), you're going to need a toothbrush to clean them. I like a clean car (sort of) but I don't want to spend 15 mins per wheel cleaning of brake dust (fronts).
