Wiper Blade Replacement

I seem to be having difficulty committing to a purchase, so I thought I would get some current intel from the forum.

Where's the best place to get replacement wiper blade inserts? All my local auto shops sell the complete (aftermarket) wiper part, not the insert alone, and I haven't bothered to check at the dealer yet.

HandA have a good price, but charge $10.26 for shipping, almost doubling the cost of the purchase.

Lastly, I'd welcome Honda Part Numbers for all three wiper inserts.

Thanks.

Inserts = Dealer.
Genuine Honda inserts won't work in aftermarket blades, so make sure yours are original.

You can look em up yourself: http://estore.honda.com/

Make sure you know the real MSRP before you head to your local dealership.

i buy the refills (inserts) from the sponsors of this site (bernardi, etc) and buy a few sets + oil filters so that the freight doesnt impact as much. also promo code should be "FitFreak" for some discount.

and yah, i dont use the aftermarket ones.. most often then not, they dont offer full wipe cause the ends of the blade lifts off the glass..very crappy and a waste of time.

My dealer does not charge to put inserts in. Insert prices are reasonable.

@ kenchan: I gave in and bought some on HandA.

@ Black3sr: That's just one more reason why Canada is such a cool place.

Inserts: I'm going to say dealership.

Blades?
Shop around (Probably "The Internet" ) but Blades wherever you purchase them will set you back considerably more.

I haven't looked at the wipers to see how hard it will be to replace the inserts. In the past, I couldn't get anywhere with the rear wiper on my '08 Fit. What's the deal? Do I need a diagram from the service manual to do this simple operation?

Is their oil filter same quality as the Mobil-1 filter? I need an insert for rear wiper so looking for something to buy to save shipping.

i cant say for sure... people were nip picky about their filters on another thread even though they weren't tracking their car nor running FI. lots of folks with odd fixations stuck in their head.

that said, ive only run the factory oil filters on my Fits and no issue. and when i had my GD and GE, i drove them hard!

no i run Mobil1 0W20. i just buy the 5qt jug at Walmart for cheap (or Amazon had a pretty good deal too) and save the 1qt for topping off as needed. i discard (recycle) the remaining oil in the jug and just get a new jug the following year to keep the oil fresh.
