2013 fit a/c power

i have a 2013 honda fit and the air conditioning has stopped working. Shop said there is plenty of freon but no power to compressor. The a/c button on the dash appears working(light comes on/off when pushed) but air does not cool. Was working in morning and next time it was used it was not working. Any suggestion?

Fuse?

The on / off light could be separate from the power to the compressor clutch.

Several people have had the relay go bad. Try a new relay. Also several people have reported that the clutch gap was too wide high and adjusting it fixed their problem. Search this forum for more details.

Did the shop say the compressor works and just isn't getting power? Or not working at all? If it's working fuse and relay are good suggestions; the first you can check without replacing and the second you probably have to replace to check (you could see if you can hear it if you have a helper to turn on the AC for you).

Shop said there is plenty of freon but no power to compressor.
If that's all they could come up with, then that shop is broken.

Replace shop with one that can solve problems on purpose.
