If you have the Security Code to restart the radio, I'd disconnect the battery to de-energize all of your systems. Not saying that it is necessary but with a VW, we were advised by the dealer to touch the two cables together that would be attached to the battery (DISCONNECT BOTH CABLES FROM THE BATTERY BEFORE DOING THIS TO BE SAFE) and that kills all of the stray electrons and clears any error codes, etc. Then re-connect both cables to the battery, the radio won't work until the Security Code is put in, but this process might be like "rebooting" a computer to get it unstuck.

BTW the radio still working 100% even and I use AUX only so rebooting the radio can fix the LCD problem?
