Anyone here with '09 Fit base, any pics?

If there's anyone here who own's a 2009 Honda Fit base model could you please download some pics here of your car? Pics of the base Fit are very hard to find. I just ordered a base Fit automatic in blue sensation pearl and it's expected to arrive in about 4 weeks or so.

Thank you.

We've got a Tidewater blue base and an Orange Revolution sport. I'll be posting pics and some info on tinkering I did today.

Could you please provide a profile pic of your base Fit?

Thank you!

Thanks a lot for the link. It does appear that the Canadian LX is identical to our base with the exception that our base has wheel covers and no cruise control.

and no spoiler I think it's easier finding pics of the Canadian LX online rather than a base USDM fit for some reason. I've seen a milano red base fit around campus a lot, it looks effing HOT!! I've seen a number of pics online of the base fit and thought the base looked kind of ugly, but in person it's a completely different story. I think if you get a chance (if you haven't already) you should go check it out in person at a dealership, test drive it and take pics if you can!

The base Fit is extremely difficult to find. All the dealers have are the Fit Sport.

We just ordered a Fit base but alas, no pics yet. When we take delivery, if this thread is still active, we'd love to post some photos of it!

Funny - I test drove the base Fit cause the dealer didn't have any Sports available for a test drive... they did have a SSM Fit Sport Navi with extras in the showroom though. Sorry didn't take any pixs.

Personally I think the rear hatch spoiler and underbody spoilers in the Sport give a whole new dimension to the look of the Fit and I do like the alloy wheels too. But the base is certainly no stripper either... makes for a great little runabout.

That would be mine.

Here are some pics I took of a Canadian DX model which is the similar to the US base. Differentiators of the DX (vs LX): black mirrors, black door handles, no keyless entry / power door locks, steelies / wheel covers, keyhole in hatch, no cruise, air con is optional, no Tidewater Blue, no Tafetta White, no Blackberry Pearl, no heated side mirrors, no rear spoiler, no armrest, and only 2 speakers.

Well it's the lightest model of the bunch. Probably not going to see a diff in the real world so that's why Honda rates them all the same.

Yep, the DX and LX get front mud flaps standard. Rear mudflaps are optional.

It doesn't look lower to me. I think they all sit fairly high.

Thank you for the pics. The base Honda Fit looks very nice. The U.S. base Fit will have color keyed door handles and a 4 speaker audio system. Our base model actually comes pretty well equipped. This should look very nice in blue sensation pearl.

I too had trouble finding anything on the base model. I test drove a sport model here in Winnipeg in late September and absolutely loved it more than the Civic which I was originally looking at. Since I can't afford a Sport model, the Base (DX) was my only option. I decided on getting a base model in the red for something different (I had a silver for many years). It must be nice that all these people only consider the Sport model. I wish I could do that! It was DX or nothing.

I'm still waiting for my red DX base model to arrive. The salesman indicated it would arrive Oct. 3-8 but it seems to be delayed. Thanks to the poster who put up the pics of the silver Fit DX model from the showroom! I've never actually seen a base model and was hoping it would be similar to what I test drove!
