GE "valve" cover?

Is there a "cover" of sorts for the GEs? I saw under the hood of a GD the other day and noticed there is a plastic cover that goes down over part of the intake (see example below)

Is there something similar for the GE?

It would be nice if someone could fab up a cover. Would make an otherwise bland engine bay not too bad.

Naturally, that was my first thought. But, we'd have to have someone with a fit in the area that'd be willing to work with him. Can't take the top end of the engine off very easily --- definitely can't drive without it.

I can guarantee that if it were done correctly, it would be a huge seller in the GE market. Allows owners to customize the engine bay and it's a relatively inexpensive mod.

You're about an hour away from Jim (Rogue Fit). He's in Casa Grande, AZ. We should see if he would be interested in making this piece. Would you be willing to drive to have him test fit / make a mold / etc?

I know where Casa Grande is, it's a bit more then an hour for me since I on the far west side of Phoenix, but I'd still be willing to make the drive if someone wants to set it up.

Like the GD, the actual valve cover on the GE L-series is somewhere under that intake manifold, and it doesn't need to be pretty so it isn't.

I posted this thread a while back, which may help, even though it's not a perfect fit: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ine-cover.html
