Hi everyone, just received my second hand jazz a month ago with 48000k on the clock. after driving a few days I notice strange noise coming from the enjin. not sure if is water pump or one of the pulley. I checked with AC on and off but still can't figure out.its like grinding noise. sometime its loud. anyone might have some clue?

 

Idler pulley, Alternator Bearings, Water Pump, AC Clutch.

I'd remove the belt and turn each one by hand see which one feels nasty..

 

thanks..! so driving with that kind of problem would be any harm? not sure because taking the belt off is another job. according to the millage of the car that shouldn't be a problem.
