Whoa. This is how your gauges look like in the US? Quite nice. First time I've seen a US Fit gauge cluster illuminated.

We get amber markings here.

Welcome to the board

LOL. Blue light keeps you awake and alert. Too many people in the US fall asleep while driving. LOL. Welcome to FF!

Lol... you sound like me... I stated I thought the round top of the info readout section, just below the actual speedo digits where the blue light starts graduating upward and across the actual speedo looks like the glow above a dark horizon at night. Photos don't do it any justice, really. Then some forum person (another forum) said I was nuts! Whatever... at the very least, if explained, even a moron can see what I'm talking about, let alone intelligent people such as you and I!

So, yeah... it's the nicest-looking cluster I've ever seen... no exceptions I can think of right now. My wife said she can't drive mine... she's afraid she will, in her own words, "Stare at the beautiful cluster so much she may have an accident from not watching the road."

Anyway, enjoy your new Fit. I just got mine a couple of weeks ago, and it's quite the little car. Takes some getting used to coming from 8+ years of SUV driving (yeah, I hear ya' as far as the low to the ground issue). But you get used to it... the car's so unique and fun to drive.

I won't part with my SUV for anything (comfortable, and incredible in snow), but the Fit is incredibly fun, great on gas, extremely versatile, and it's gonna' be fun modding.

Enjoy!

Wow! Thanks everyone!

AnlDyxp GD3: Thanks for that info! I love little tidbits like that.

annunC8: Yeah its great to know someone else sees the same thing lol. Nah your not nuts, that person had not vision/imagination. I have been driving my Jeep since July 2004 and after 3 days of driving the Fit, I had to get used to driving the Jeep!!! I told my husband "The Fit is very easy to get used to driving" and he replied "That's a Honda". He has an 02 Civic and is addicted to Honda and probably main reason he bought me a car is because I said I wanted a Honda.

Oh and I am taking car of it. I even got a car duster and dust if off when i get dust on it! I am actually getting a little upset over of small piece of dirt on it, which for me is very usually since my Jeep hasnt been washed since about the middle of last year!

I am just really excited about my FIT!!!!!

LOL! Yeah I think it was a Harvard article I read that in. People perform better at night when exposed to blue light instead of white light because blue light has shorter wave lengths and what not. Green and red is less disturbing(probably why LED display alarm clocks are usually green and blue light. interesting

So thats probably why my husband's Civic has red lights on his gauges! He said everyone asks him where his gauges come from and they are surprised when he tells them its stock!

That is very interesting...now i feel compelled to find some interesting information

I bet they sell a lot of car dusters in Odessa.... The sand I see in the pictures of your beautiful car looks just like the sugar sand I have to drive across almost a 1/2 mile each way coming and going.... Enjoy that car, it is a very nice one.

Another TX Fit, welcome and good luck with that dust problem in Odessa of all places, you must be cleaning it almost twice daily . . . which is not really a problem IMO

Welcome to the site, and you are one of the very few with the whole Mugen kit. It looks really good in silver, and I envy the fact that you can actually notice the front grille.

Welcome to the site! Lovin the Mugen setup you got there.. I'm planning on purchasing the Mugen side skirts this summer since my GE didn't come with any (Canadian LX model).

My Fit is my first Honda as well.. and first car. I believe it was an excellent choice
