Someone explain to me the reason for these things:

1)Stretched tires, which looks like it will lessen the life of the tire and/or lessen the safeness of the tire.
2)The Lip on the rim being so out there, kinda because of the stretched tires I am assuming.

If it's just a style then I guess I don't get it, but it just seems really unsafe to me.

it's just a style. no need for further explanation.

i think with a taller tire and lower drop, it would look dope.

Why yes she does and they look really good on her car.

Yes the tires are way to small for the GE I just put them on for fun
not to pretend to be Hellaflush. Been there done that.

u sure its ur fiancee's project car? or is it ur project car that she drives... lol. i thought they'd poke out a lil more on the dub. u got the center caps for the wheels too?

Ha. No its totally her project. Its her 5th volkswagen. She does have the center caps too.

Looks 10000x better on her Golf than on a Fit. Stretched tire on a Fit really can only be pulled off if the car is absolutely slammed.
