I can't tell from the pics due to lighting, but how well does that headunit trim match the OEM trim?

Nice looking GE.

Quick question, would you mind looking into how much the gauge cluster goes for there? Since they are also amber in color there, I would like to swap out mine because it stops at 180km/h with the artificial speed limiter imposed by Japan regs.

So what other countries are LHD? Thailand? Malaysia? Germany? Any others?

I would love love love to find a low mileage FD2R that was LHD...was this car sold as LHD? If so, presumably in one of the above countries?

Nope. FD2R only RHD and sold in Japan. I believe some Asian countries may have them, but not actually sold by Honda as showroom, grey-market. Though possibly Malaysia got the FD2R, I can't remember what Wong who runs the ToVAsia site said about that.

There was 1 of the 300 Mugen RR Civics at a small used dealer lot not far from my house for about 2 days, I was so shocked to see it, but the sticker price on it...¥520, which in reality meant ¥5.2 million and into $ at the time would have been about $58000. Needless to say I wasn't going to look at it, but if I had the money, I may have. Just for the simple fact that only 300 of them were made. Not real fond of red cars, but I could have made an exception.

Wong KN reported they were sold in Malaysia through official channels (Honda Malaysia), in the same RHD form. Their FD2Rs had very slightly different specs, but otherwise a spitting image of the JDM real deal.

Of course, given how expensive their sticker prices were they were sold only on a very limited basis
