Not really digging the JDP mirrors... *Only thing I like by them is the radiator cover*

But, good progress man

Reason I dont like the JDP mirrors is because they look too small for the vehicle... IMO.

Bought it there. My "chauffer" for the week was a very trustworthy and respectable young man. We even kinda became friends...or so I thought.

I filled his pockets with cash before I left to cover shipping charges PLUS extra for his troubles. Oh well.

Lulz....chopped as in photoshopped.

What exactly are you trying to modify with the base bumper? I love mine...it makes it unique from all the sports. I haven't seen any other bases in my area.

i dont like the gaps in between those air dams. it feels like "INCOMPLETE" ....
maybe add a grille or a mesh or i was thinking of cutting those small air dam pillars if thats what its called...and just make a diy mesh or grille, something like that jdm air-dam & insert it .
..wish honda could have added a mesh or something...
btw i love that painting job u did...i was also thinking of just painting it black

Hmmm....I would just paint it and forget it if I was you. You really sound like you got issues with the base bumper...why not just buy a sport bumper? It'll cost you around $275....then probably $300-400 to get it professionally painted.

NO fit sport bumper for me, the base bumper is just fine. Its that small
INCOMPLETENESS w/ that air-dam bumper ...but something can be done w/it

The reason why I bought this car is GAS Mileage !!! Love it

..Base model is just A-OK...
I'd already took-off the rear seats and strip the rear out of those
plastic panels...the lighter the better...

Of course another reason is reliability and that small thing:
"fun-2-drive" factor that comes w/it...

Starting to plan out a JDM front swap...

ATM, I'm thinking of going with the Js racing front bumper...possibly without the winglets...my only concern with the Js bumper is the hit I'd take in gas mileage with the constant downforce???

But I also like the simplicity of the JDM base bumper:

And sexy JDM profile:

Any thoughts?

I really like how that looks with the vented hood and mudflaps. Is that a base or did you delete the spoiler?

The red one in the foreground with the Recaros also looks pretty sharp.

Maybe take a cue from the red one in the middle and carbon fibre vinyl wrap the upper grill area, hood, roof, hatch and a stock spoiler

That's a base.

Note:
Front bumper is base model, sport is different and includes fog lamps. Accessory fogs for the base model still would look different too.

Also, lack of side skirts along with the spoiler. The sports' side skirts prevent installing of the accessory mud flaps for the front wheels.

Sure, you could modify the sport to look like that... >.>

Thank you for schooling me on GEs! I don't admittedly pay much attention to them, but there are more than a few nice ones on FF.

All the ones I see around here are stock sport models.
