Mugen Fit Photoshoot Pt.2

After three wheel swaps and finally getting my suspension in, I finally decided to have a photo shoot with a local photographer I'm friends with. I'm lowered on T1R S-coils, and the wheels are Rota Slipstreams in 15x6.5 with Dunlop Direzzas.

Love the look of the car. Short of some tint and window visors most of the mods are done on this car.

Enjoy.

All the photos here were taken by my friend Nate Doggart of JarboeDoggart Photography. They have a very large portfolio and have done several events. His rates are very good and he can travel to take pictures. I'd advise everyone to take a look at his samples and other works. He specializes in cars but can photograph anything or any event. Website is as follows.

Wow, I love it. Although I would like it more if the wheels were 17s. IMO, tires are beefy.

How'd you tint the tails?

Thanks for the comments. The tails I bought like that and they are sold on Ebay and are Depo LED RS replicas.

I liked the way the 17's fit on my car, but I couldn't go low as I wanted to go and still maintain drivability with 17's. Even with 195/40/R17's. I commute 45 miles each way to work on shitty NE roads so I need all the suspension travel I can get.

Nice pics, I just wish the exposure was a little higher so we can really see the details of the car.

I think I just noticed something for the first time... the Mugen bumper makes the nose of the USDM fit not look so odd from the side. I like it.

one of the better looking fits by far.

imo, just add visors and leave it no tint....give it a fishbowl effect.

I noticed that as well...but I think it's the dark color that's hides some of the bulge??

Though it's hard to tell from a lack of contrast (problem wit black on black), you've pulled off 15s very well...

How's the ride on the T1Rs? Stiff? Too stiff? Bouncy?

T1R's ride very good, but make sure you trim the bumpstops correctly. A lot of guys trim them too low the the springs make noise under loading. The car handles great, but I am planning a sway bar.

Thanks for all the positive comments. This car has had an identity crisis and I'm finally satisfied with the exterior. Like I said, I'm gonna delete the mugen badges on the front fenders, hopefully get some mugen visors and then for the most part I'll be done. I'll upgrade the front brakes when it comes time. I'm browsing for some decent black lugs that aren't Mugen or Rays to complete the stealth look.

I strongly agree with this statement. It's almost perfect as is. Tint would just make it look a bit too much like a shiny black blob. It's mean and clean right now.

I freaking love your car--the slips just look so fantastic. Makes me sick to my stomach, lol...I should have gotten slips.

Pictures look great too...

And visors will really set it off.
