GE8 TW Progress

One of the greatest days in my life was being surprised with a brand new 2010 Honda Fit Sport for graduation.

Within a couple of weeks my urge to customize my car hit a all time high. I started with yellow fog light film from Headlight Armor, and Honda OEM visors. I even made a custom offset license plate mount.
But then this happened.....

Yup, someone stole my wheels and tires off of my fit. Joy. So I got these for only $500 (our deductible)

So after taking a few pictures of my car......

I felt like something was missing.....so I ordered these babies and just installed them!

Never thought of that. I will give it a shot tomorrow, o wait I guess technically since it is 1:04 am it is tomorrow. Hahaha ok so later today I will flip it (which will cause it to be offset to the left which is fine with me) and see how that looks. I think it is gonna look pretty good.

Don't do like I did with my first car and mess it up by being crazy with it..... I told my son the same thing and he trashed the best looking Rabbit convertible I ever laid eyes on in about 4 months.

Update!

Alright so it has been a while and not much has been done sadly. I added the red badges, and added the DIY front lip (thanks sandblasted for the write up). I am still trying to figure out what to do next so any ideas? here is a quick pic of it as of a few days ago:

Yes, yes I know it "needs to be lowered". But I drive so much (From Tyler to Houston and back twice a month) that I do not want to ruin my suspension quite yet.

looking good man. even just a subtle drop Tanabe NF210 would help set the car off.

You could do black headlight housing. Looks really good on white fits.

I think that Swift Springs would be the perfect drop for you--I've put a boatload of miles on my Swifts with no issues. It lowers it subtly but improves the ride and tightens up the suspension a bit. Love them!

Your car is looking nice!

+1 on Swift Springs

The drop seem to be on the conservative side but it's one damn good springs. I dont know if it's just me but the springs just get better even when I thought they have settled. I'm even sure how to explain that LOL maybe they're just that good...???

The Swift springs are made by Tohatsu... They built fabulous 2 stroke dual purpose motorcycles in the mid 1960s.... They are far better springs than others I have used on other cars in the past.

Quick Update

Alright so I have been going back and forth on what to do to my fit. My parents were thrilled when I told them I am getting a job next semester in college, but not so thrilled when I told them it was cause my car needed more loving and needed to have more mods haha. But I have made a final list of the parts I want to put on my fit. I am going more for the appearance aspect rather than the performance mainly because I am driving so much right now and the car is less than a year old. So here is the final (or until I change my mind again) list of parts I am planning on putting on the fit as soon as the cash starts flowing in.

Future Mod List:

1. Mugen Front Lip
2. Mugen Rear Lip
3. Mugen Grille
4. New Front Red Honda Badge (Since the old one is attached to the OEM grille)
5. Mugen Rear View Mirror Cover
6. JDP Vented CF Hood
7. JDP CF Spoiler
8. Custom TX License Plate
9. Spoon Interior Mirror
10. RS Badge

That is it for now. I will probably get coilovers later but I would rather work on these parts for now.
