My TW 2010

Ok so most of you know by my user name I do work for Weapon-R but I finally got a fit of my own so here is where I will show all of what I do. Also this car will be drivin by the wife 90% of the time.

here it is when we picked it up on 9/18/2010

Then today 9/27

I tried out some wheels that I wanted to run so check it out the first picture below is the 18x9 with a 20 offset and as you can see they stick way out! so thats out. Next picture is a 18x8 with a 40 offset and its HELLA FLUSH!!! but it dont think its going to clear with a tire on it and its close to a piece that comes from the rear suspension arm. Now I am going to make a few calls to see about some 17x7 and some 16x8 wheels. I am on a quest now everyone hahaha

after that I made up the lower 4pt and 2pt tie lower tie bars today for the car. The 4 point bar requires you to remove that cheap flimsy bar that honda put in so this can clear. The front 2 point goes onto the from A-arm bolts Ill take better pics tomorow.

Aren't you worried about the intake sucking up some water right there Those hoses look good but I wouldn't want to clean them for sure

The intake is modular so you can make it a SRI if you notice my pic showing the coolant hose you can see the intake is currently a SRI. The coolant hose will be a pita to clean but then again we dont have clear/white available we do have red blue and black tho so no need to worry hahaha

nice choice in wheels. jus wished the rivets were outside of the mesh to give it more of a bbs lm look. what'cha gonna do suspension wise?

Fit's coming along nicely. I've been trying to hold off until after SEMA, but threads like this just start making me itch.

Quick question, did you you notice a big difference with the frame bars? I know that Honda bragged about making the GE much stiffer than the GD, so I'm just curious how much more help the chassis could use.

I only did a little bit of testing with the bars and i think it feels a little differnt. I was really going to put it to use at a upcoming trackday but it filled up so more testing will have to wait till next year. Also as far as suspension I am thinking about picking up the progress springs from another forum member or going with the Eibach prokit. I only want the car to have a max drop of 1.5" as this is my wifes daily driver. Although I plan to bring it to SEMA next year untill then its hers

Eibachs are notoriously soft, and during the first part of the compression stroke, may even have a lower spring rate than the linear stock ones. At least progress publishes their rates. I'd go with the latter based on that, but in the interest of max performance, would choose something different altogether. Since it's a wife's car, that may not be the goal. I've been happy with Progress in the past on one of my rides fwiw.
