installed them yesterday... J's Racing 3D GT wing

 

Gah! I love that GT wing, I want to pick one up but I refuse to until the rest of my car can balance it out.

Please bring it to the JDMC WI meet so that our Fits can hang out.

 

Looking really good. I need to ask Umehara-San why they didn't alter the mounts to utilize the stock mounting points of the RS and Sport there.

Everytime I see J's staff, they keep telling me I need the wing. Now I keep telling them I need the 6 pot calipers up front first. hahaha

 

I think a 4 pot would be just fine regardless... then you can do the brakes and wing the same time

 

don't voltex make the wing for J's? I know they don't make them in-house...

 

But 4 < 6. hahaha And 4 in Japanese is shi which also can mean death, so I'll go with the 6pot from J's.

The wing is definitely 'Texas Pete'. Almost all the Fits I play with out on circuit utilize it and I may eventually go that route, but honestly pushing as hard as I do, I don't really feel a need for greater df in the rear at this time. Though my eye-candy meter pegs pretty high when I see this damn thing on the other Fits.

Time for you to look into some JDM front end swap out, or go the South of the Border route and source from Mexico the front end. Barbara may scream for defacing her nose, but sometimes plastic surgery really is needed.

 

Honestly not sure, definitely not in house. Not sure if they have First Molding doing their wings also. I wouldn't doubt that, because they do pretty much all of their carbon work. I can ask next time I see them.

 

haha I got you on the "4" thing. You just don't realize how we sometimes just stare at this USDM fit and wish it was JDM... and that's everytime we do something to it... soon LOL

 

you'll do it some time soon sure will be at coming WI meet.

 

I'm thinking I'll have the GT wing by this time 2013 lol. That or I'll make something custom :fap:

 

Wow dude, the car is looking really gorgeous. I sent you a PM earlier. I am finally gonna pull the trigger on the J's tails (Tax Refund money! Whoo). I was asking about the fitment but after reading your thread I believe I have my answer. More pix of your whole car pls!

 

thanks. Nothing in my inbox but I'm sure glad you finally decided with the J's tail. You getting it from Fizz? The fitment is perfect, everything lines up and no wiring issues. very generous on the the wire length... more than you can even ask for. Getting clear or smoke?
