love the drop, the color, and the diy lip! ...I was thinking of painting my stockers for the hell of it and this has motivated me to get on it

Nice ride! So how many cans of plasti-dip and enamel did you end up using? And any reason you went w/ the rustoleum engine enamel over a regular spray enamel?

 

3 1/2 cans of plasti-dip. 3 1/2 cans of enamel. I used engine enamel, because it was the only orange I could find. Seriously, out of 2 home-depots, 2 Lowe's, 1 Ace. the ONLY orange lol.

I also used about 1 can of clear coat. really, not enough at all to give a good shine and depth. But I just wanted a little extra protection.

woot, painted the rear valence with.... BOOM, plasti-dip. i love this stuff lol.


Makes such a huge difference in the way the car looks



My one bit of advice, is make sure you remove the painters tape before the plasti-dip dries. otherwise, when removing the tape it will pull the plastidip off. I had to use a razor to slice it along the tape. now the edge is ragged. but you cant tell unless you get super close. still very happy
