How's the Hankook Ventus V2 Concepts? Looking to change my stock Turanzas to the V2s but it is relatively new so I don't see much reviews yet.

 

Thanks. The V2s are good overall. Long tire life, solid sidewall, and pretty good grip most of the time. There are only a couple of occasions where I lose traction in rain, mostly in hard turns, but that's to be expected. They are much better than the stock tires, however mine are 205/40R17. I feel like they are less noisy, but give a harsher ride due to being low profile in combination with my suspension setup.

 

planning to get 205/50/R16s coz not planning to change wheels yet. still deciding whether to have Hankooks V2 or the V12 Evo since we just need summer tires for dry and wet seasons.. 500 vs 280 tread rating is a big difference though. thanks for the info!

 

Starting off the new year with a few new shots. It got dark and cold fast, so I didn't get as many shots done as I wanted, but these turned out alright. Looking forward to a few changes this year.

I got them used from a member on here, but they can be bought from RHD Japan. They are a bit pricey though, currently at $420, not including international shipping (another $100+) .

This is one of the nicest looking Fits on the site IMO. I particularly like the T-Forks. I'm currently considering getting these in the 16" size. They're similar to the style that Ford is using on Mustangs as an option.

Thanks! It's tough on here, there are some really sick Fits, mine is just a work in progress lol.

I pulled up to a Mustang with the wheels you're talking about and they did look really similar, I was surprised because I hadn't seen anything else in quite the similar design. I'm saving up for some different wheels, so I might be selling these soon.

What shift knob is that? I want a new one for my auto; i was considering the momo one but $110 for a shift knob is a bit steep for me. Is it spring loaded to get it out of park?

 

Yeah it's a night and day difference, literally! The 6500K and yellow fog combo really differentiates my car from others at night, a real neckbreaker lol. I love the JDP diffuser, it makes the rear look so much more aggressive now.

It's the Razo RA93 and yes it's spring loaded. I was looking at the Momo one too but I didn't feel like it was worth $100+. Razo makes a few knobs for ATs. Finding them may be a bit difficult though, got mine on Ebay for $45, authentic Carmate Japan, but it was the last one. It was smaller than I expected when it arrived but I find that it's really tasteful once installed. It was an easy 10 minute install. A couple of tips if you decide to get it. 1. Use the included thin metal spacer to keep the center ring correctly positioned. 2. Use the two smaller screws (they include longer ones in case) and position the center ring about a quarter of the way below the top of the chrome cylinder. Tighten enough so there is no slippage. Haha...slippage.

Awesome, I wanted to try and get the all black one but I found the same one as yours on eBay and went ahead and ordered it. The Momo one is just way too much for me to spend on a shift knob.

 

I'm thinking about it, but maybe not any time soon since I have to save up for it. Right now I'm considering Work CR Kais, SSR MS1Rs, or Volk VR G2s, but I may find something else altogether. I'm unsure about the SSRs and Volks because my roommate had his Rays wheels stolen off his G35 a month ago. It was parked right in front of my Fit in a relatively safe neighborhood...

Nice! I even looked on ebay after buying mine and there was nothing, nor anywhere else through Google shopping. Some other websites were selling it for like $60+ though. Did you get a good deal?

Awesome deal, that's what I originally made an offer for but I noticed there was someone else who made an offer too so I didn't want to risk losing out on a hard to find item at an already low price.
