Wow looks nice. Cheap way to change the color on your wheels. Did you have the tires off when you did this or did you just tape it all off?????
Its defiantly easy and fun to change it up! It makes wheels you get bored off get a whole new look and if you dont like it it is easy to change back.
All i did was take the wheels off the car. i Used Playing cards in the gap between the tire and rim. It gave protection to the tire while still allowing the full rim to be there. It was quick and easy the only part i taped was the fill valve.

Good stuff!
How many coats did you use?
I did like 4 coats on mine and my drivers front is peeling a little already :/
Luckily it's really easy to fix just spray over it with more plastidip

oh question. how many cans did you use total? and does anyone know where to buy colors OTHER than black? I know the spray only comes in a few colors. But ace, HD, and lowes only have black in stock!

I will when i decide to do a different colour lol
i didnt really think about doing it this round though

I got the plasti dip from Home hardware, cause it was the only place i could find at the time. They have five or six colours i beleive. When i went they only had the black though
They have Red White Blue Black and yellow there might be more im not sure

I used probably three or four, The paint is holding up very well on my wheels, When i painted them i just did a coat on a wheel then moved to another wheel and so on so on till they all looked good haha
didnt really keep count but it was atleast 3 coats, I hear the more you put on the less it sticks as good.

I used 2 and a half. I have half a can now for touching up if i ever need it. I was surprised how much was in a can. It worked well and i have 17 inch wheels so they are pretty big.
When i went to home hardware they had the white and the red, but both those colours were sold out. Look on plasti dips website under the locations part and it gives a good amount of places to try and look.

I did my wheels! Got my plasti dip at ace hardware. Not too bad. Just cleaned the wheels and i did 4 coats on each. After 500 miles they are holding up fine.
Thanks for the tip with the cards for masking purposes. I bought some big index cards for like $2.00 that worked great.

It drys very evenly. I love the stuff. So easy to use and looks good. I have washed the car several times incluing 1 trip to the local handwash car wash and it is holding up fine.
