Newbie, Advice and Introductions

Hey guys, first time fit owner here!! My parents own an '08 sport and i liked it so much that when my truck finally bit the dust i decided to spring for a 2011 Base model.

I chose the base model mainly for price plus the paddle shifters and spoiler are not of any interest to me.

I am looking for suggestions as to what rims i should purchase, i plan to use the stock tires for a good while before swapping but id like to get a jump on finding the right set of rims for my new car. I like the look of the stock 2011 sport wheels, any idea where i can find some or find some that are similar?

Also, what mods do you guys suggest? I have seen some mods of the antenna, i think i may want to do something like that. I also love the JDM taillights i have seen on this forum.

Anyways, thanks so much for the advice and i hope to be a valuable member to this community for a long while.

Its better to find a used set of sport wheels. Much cheaper. You also have to switch over the TPMS over. Its not necessary, but the TPMS light will stay lit.

You can upgrade the dinky horn that the Fit has by using an Accord or install window visors. Both very simple to install.

What color is your car?

thanks for the reply! The color of my car is TW. Any suggestion for finding used sport rims? I have been checking the marketplace on here quite often.

TW is a good color. Pretty much any color would go well with TW.

I would check the classifieds at honda-tech.com/nwp4life.com or your local craigslist. Fitfreak is the best too look for, but the Sport wheels are tough to get a hold of used. They usually go around $500 with tires.

Also check out your local Pick-n-Pull car yards. They might have crashed Fits that still have mint Sport wheels.

Oh a tw one. Red jdm emblems front and back pop on that color. Also in this color any color rim looks nice. I say as I tell every new guy best mod is to lower it and a rear sway bar. You will love those two mods. Try the for sale section of this forum if you really want sport rims they come up all the time. Enkei rpf1s will be the lightest and another best mod you could do.

Welcome to our forum. Alot of info can be found in here.
