oh, suspension is megan coilovers. rears are all the way down and fronts have about an inch to go. all the collars are still there since this is my daily driver. i might go a bit lower when i get my fenders rolled, though.

yes. definitely rubbing. the rears aren't so bad. they don't rub at all, except when i have passengers in the back (which is pretty rare). the fronts don't rub as much as they did since i cut out the fender liner. it's not rubbing on the metal at all, just the plastic. hopefully i'll finally get the fenders rolled soon. i don't really trust myself to do it.

Car looks great Neil! Those wheels are excellent. You could probably just install some camber bolts to fix the rubbing in front.

I put some on mine just to get some negative camber for better cornering and noticed it tucked the wheels way in just adding a little bit of camber.

I've got the SPC bolts installed, just not spec'd by a pro. I know it's terrible but I've been putting off a proper alignment for a while now. I've been playing with the ride height to see what I could live with daily and I think I'm kinda settled now so it's time.

thanks! now I just need to find my centercaps. I ordered some replacements on eBay that are the same diameter but it doesn't clip in properly. I'd put the honda centercaps on there but they don't fit right either.

yeah, that's the tough part. i always advise folks that want to do it to find a used set or get some depo or TYC branded housings on amazon.com. that way, you can still drive around while completing the retro. and something always comes up so it's a good idea. you might need to drive at night to buy a tool or some part for the retro. what i did was buy those funky ebay projector housings that don't fit quite right and used them while i was doing the retro. i sold them after i was done.

oh, and i have finally started on my recaro project. the mark4 jetta recaros were going to be a pain because they have have integrated sliders that will fit only on that model. all the mounting holes were not standard so instead of cutting the brackets up, i just bought some new recaros. they're not as awesome as yours but they fit me just fine. i already have sliders, just waiting on the brackets now. i'm pretty excited. thanks for your help on that.
