PMM Sport -After wanting one for over 5 years, GOT IT!

Hey everyone, my names Beau. I've been viewing this forum for years and now I finally have a Fit to talk about! I started signing papers for a new 06 Fit Sport until I was talked out of it and into an Si by a friend of the family that works in the parts department. He said "It's too small and your basically sitting on the gas tank. Your not going to like it". After driving an 06 Si for a year, 07 STI Limited for 2 years, 09 WRX for 6 months and an 11 Si for 6 months, I finally realized that I should have been driving a Fit all along. I consider myself a true Fit Freak, and love everything about it (besides no outside temp. gauge!). I plan on doing some mods just to have fun with the car and make it a fun daily driver. I will add pics as the parts go on. Thanks for looking!

What made you get rid of the Sti and Wrx?

Congrats!

As for pics, upload them to phtobucket or similar and then use this code to post

(without spaces)

You'll get the URL for the image off of photobucket. Direct link.

Lemme know how else I can help.

That can be added! See this thread:

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...l-one-yet.html

I got a auto dimming Cipa 36400 with outside temp and compass. That was a feature I missed in my old is300.

FUUUUUUUUUU....ck that I love fast cars but there just not practical anymore. The Fit is fun and zippy and give you good mpg. I did get alot more respect rolling up in a Prelude though. Not to self: Make the fit look sick.

I got the WRX after the STi because I liked the refinement compared to the older models. Enjoyed it for a while but just really missed the way the Honda felt. Got another Si and loved that, but the Fit has been stuck in the back of my mind for so long that I had to get one!

definitely getting a compass/temp. rearview mirror in the near future. I feel so lost without a temp gauge in this car

Man I thought I changed cars alot really nice rides you had (have) there. I'm a huge Honda and Subaru fan as well. Had a WRX but traded it for a JK unlimited Wrangler, now looking to get into a Fit myself with the gas prices. I just can't think of another car out there that offers so much for so little, AND you can fit a ton of stuff into. Great choice on the color, PMM is awesome! Good luck with it!

I had a deposit on an alabaster silver fit but withdrew since I decided I'd rather black or PMM so I may have to wait a while. I really like the 4 door Si's too and that was another car I was thinking about or an 08 TSX (had an 04 6 speed that I loved). Has it been hard getting used to the lack of acceleration compared to the Si or the Subies?

I do miss the power, but with any kind of daily driving it really isn't necessary. The fit has enough pep to get you up to speed quick enough, and the handing is what makes it a fun DD.
