you're in a whole different world now! one of fuel economy and reliability and cheap parts and possibly fiscal responsibility to boot. welcome. curious as to how the ride & handling compare to the r32. I've driven a passat 4motion many times which is quite similar but about three sizes larger for the body. The Fit is going to be a little slower than the other ones. It'll accelerate like an M3 ... an M3 behind a tractor trailer at the tollbooth. Ah ahahah i crack myself up.

It's DD status for now, so just the small things...

Yellow Fogs
JDM Center Console
Tint
BBS RS

But in 5 months when I'm back on my feet...

Intake
Exhaust
Bags
Heated power leather seats
True HIDS

If you guys have any recommendations or if I'm forgetting some necessary small things please share.

Addition (to my wallet) by subtraction (of outrageous costs)

The Fit is hilariously fun. It is my lightest car by far so I can toss it around, and with FWD, parking lots are a breeze again.

The R32 handled well, but is in a totally different weight class (especially due to the heavy Haldex and twin clutch tranny).

The Fit is incredibly nimble, but the R32 feels way more solid (stock for stock)

My 335i had 350hp, so the 117hp in the Fit is a little depressing, but my 30mpg city is just absurd, and REGULAR GAS! Yes! haha

Yeah, not sure the fancy term for them. I've installed them in my old Talon and my buddy's truck, just the actual HID bulb with a ballast you have to mount somewhere too. Anyone have any luck with those?

I wouldn't really consider that a "true" HID. The rest of the headlight is designed for a incandescent bulb and thus your light pattern will be lacking in comparison to a car with HID's from the factory. Read up on retrofit's like the previous poster stated and you eyes will be opened to the "right" way of doing it.

Here is a very informative link that will help you out.

Good luck with her man

Right now they are a set of staggered 16x7 and 16x8 +24.

I'm gonna test fit them this weekend and see if I can do bigger lips somehow. Haha.

And they were for sale on VRWheels website, and even with a redrill I feel I got a damn good deal on them.

Great wheels, the few Fits I have seen with BBS in the threads here look great. I would even settle for Privats. We should start a stickly with links to different website for used wheels.

There is only one show left this season that I can attend (H2O), so I'm probably gonna run them as is, then this winter when I have the time I'm gonna break them down, probably grab bigger lips and quarter height hex caps and get new bolts and probably change to a different white finish.

Aka these wheels will look completely different than now, hahaha.
