Bowtech83's 2012 Blue Raspberry Metallic Sport

I am new to the Fit game. I bought this back in late February. Its an awesome car, getting 35.6 mpg currently. Its a manual transmission as well. I first installed DDM Tuning 55W 8000K hids. Then I tinted the windows 20% all the way around with a 5% brow. Then I installed a Tanabe Concept G axle back. I just received my T1R B-pipe yesterday but haven't installed it yet. Future plans are some nice coilovers for daily use. It will never be on the track. I have read the threads on daily coilovers and everyone has their own opinion. I was thinking about the Tanabe S-0C coilovers, but I would like some input from you guys on nice daily coilovers. Also fully polished Work Meister CR01's, a T1R test pipe, some type of intake (opinions welcome), and possibly a few other goodies.

Looking good congrats

how do you like the concept G? I'm still undecided on exhaust but like both Tanabe touring and concept G

I decided to go with Swift springs instead of coils but looks like the market is heating up for the GE.

check out the Buddy club deal from Bean garage.
If it's still going on you can get a free short shifter with your coilovers.

I like the Concept G a lot...but its pretty quiet. Tanabe bases their exhaust on performance while remaining at 93db or lower. I am sure it will be louder when I throw the T1R b-pipe on.

I don't like them either. That's why I sold them. But hey, if you want balloon tyres, go ahead. Just fair warning, 15's + lip + huge tyre means they'll look even smaller once they're on the car.

Welcome. I have the Tanabe S-0C's on mine with no complaints. The lowest setting makes for a nice drop without being too low.

Had you considered these?

Schwert C2M in a 16"

or these

Fast Essen

I' m a big fan of the OEM Sport wheels. I know... sacrilege. There something about the flat faced spokes. They look good at night. They reflect all the light. These two that I put up pictures of are the closest to stock I can find that I still like. I think that 16's are the apropriate size for our GE's. Surely a 16" rim with 205/50R16 tires and a suitable coilover with a small drop for daily driving would be just grand! As an idea ( I'm no expert) look at the PRM intake. I like the fact that the filter is protected from the elements.

I could always go with the meister s1's...they come in 16 inch. I also like the mesh wheel faces with a fat lip...kinda like CCW wheels or the voklswagon scene look...I was also looking at SSR wheels...

I see now...We are on different pages. You like the spokes (wheel faces....I learn stuff everyday I'm on here I swear) to be sunk in the rim. I like them to be flush with the rubber. Like the pics above.

There are a lot of FitFreaks who are mad for the OEM sport wheels. When you make the change you could prob sell them here fast!

Looks good. I have Buddy Club N+ dampers on my daily driven Fit. I like them a lot. You can go real low if you want, and the ride is decent. Just buy high quality (which I can see you already do) and you'll be happy. If you're looking for the softest ride then just look at spring rates. For the intake just get the K&N Typhoon. I know it rains in Indiana, and this is your daily, so you don't want a cold air intake that will get all that water from the rain up on the filter. I have the K&N and it's great. Easy to install, and high quality. And the CR01s will look great. One of my fav wheels too. Fifteens look fine on the GE, which is why I'm going that route too, cept goin' with RPF1 because of their super light weight. If I were more concerned with looks tho and just wanted a slightly lighter wheel than stock, I'd go with the 15" CR01s hands down.

Nice car!

Personally I think the Velox Glide wheels would look amazing on your car.

I just vomited at the wheels posted in here.

OP, out of the people in here, you do have the best taste in wheels. The Schwerts are rad, but only look good in huge (19x10, 18x9, etc.) sizings.

I wouldn't vomit on CR01's, I'm considering them for my Fit. I'm just saying they'll look like junk on a GE.

Excited to see what the BRM looks like dropped. Plans to do suspension anytime soon?
