Whiteout

Hey guys, been loving my new 2012 fit (about 1000 miles in now) and started working on a few things so far, so I though I would share. I just wanted to say thanks to all who contribute on here for being my inspiration.

So far Ive done...
Wiper mod
20% tint all around
window visors
painted hatch piece and red H's
Center armrest
Swift Springs
Dash cover

Any ideas or input would be great thanks!

Are the swifts installed in those pictures? The offset of the stock wheels throw it off a bit.

Blue: Ya the swifts are installed in the photos. The rear wheels really seem like they are far in.

Wanderer: thanks is there a honda world up there or did you get it from socal?

Moved to the bay area November of 2011, lived in Huntington Beach prior and picked up the car from Honda World Westminster.

nice color choice ; )

swift is a great spring, but dang it still looks stock in those pics. Looks into getting a nice H/U to up the sound of the stocks speakers. Maybe HID's and yellow fogs.

Looking great so far!

I actually did swap out the bulbs yellow lower and silverstars upper. I was just starting to look at head units but I have no idea where to start with those. Any suggestions?

I bought the Pioneer AVH-3300BT i believe is the model. Its a tv with bluetooth and USB connectivity. I love it.

my choice on H/U is Pioneer for sure! but there are plenty of brands out there that are great.

Does that head unit work with the steering wheel controls?

Did you use some kind of puller to get the wiper to budge?

Little fit- ya I like the look with the wiper removed but I just really like using the rear wiper. I actually have a neighbor who has a mobile auto body business and I had him paint it for me.

Mkane- since I didn't paint it my self (no painting skills at all) I just did the mod with the wiper attached.

Looks very much like my 2012. Question...where did you obtain the red badges? I keep hearing conflicting info on what models fit what years. I have a 2012 like you, so since yours look like they fit well, I'll get whatever you got.

I really like the painted rear section. I might have to do that myself. Good drop on the springs too, not too low. Although I would maybe put a small space on the wheels. The factory offset is already so high, that lowering the car makes it look sunk in even more. That's why I'm hesitant to lower my car.

Thanks for the comments shamoo. Im hoping that when I get new tires it will look a little better in regards to the offset.

The H badges I got came from ebay titled 2009 JDM RED H FRONT & REAR EMBLEM SET HONDA FIT JAZZ and sold by dutchessmotorsports.

Hope that helps.

The wiper arm just pops right off. Once you undo the nut holding it, the trick is to just open the wiper up. Meaning tilt it off the glass and it will easily come off of the attachment.

The painted rear trim does look quite nice.
