Hey everyone,

I just picked me up a 2012 base model fit, have done a few mods already.
little back story on me, I am from Arizona but currently live in Louisiana because I am in the Airforce, I have always loved Hondas, and have had many EF's. I had a PMM FiT sport a few months ago that was MT, but sold it and saved up some money and got this one. I have a decent amount of things I want to do to her, but nothing too extreme. I dont have any pictures of what I've done so far, so here are the only pictures I do have.


Next to a Fit sport at the dealership, to show my wife the differences, lol.
Jdm brake lights put on that i had from my previous Fit.
Rainy day.
New headlight bulbs, also did some other mods that night, that I will tell about when i get pictures!

 

well nothing too exciting, i washed her today..


then as I was sitting there I realized that i didnt really like the color of the hubcaps.. so i went and found some gunmetal spray paint.
unfortunately by the time i got em sprayed it was dark and so i didnt put them on, but here is what they look like!

a little more sparkle than i expected.. haha

 

got the hubcaps on!

i think it looks better! Also switched interior, so i have the sport interior!
and then picked me up a cargo tray.

 

That looks like you got a good start there. Hubcaps look a lot better with the gunmetal finish.

 

gotta say, those are some decent looking hubcaps now.

right now im just waiting for my springs and some other things to come in the mail.. i feel like ive been waiting forever.

 

UPDATE!
put in the fog lights today!

Was pretty scary cutting up the front bumper.. but it all worked out! whew!

 

Base model withfogs FTW! Looking good.

Took me awhile cuz my axles popped out...


They're the TIEN S.TECH's if you cant tell..

ANNDDD this cracked.. hopefully it will be fine, (any thoughts?)





Then immediately got her aligned.

Main thing i gotta say is dont let those axles pop out.. but all in all it was worth it to me and i love the look of it!

i got the same crack as yours when I was installing my coils. The nut wouldn't come off so I had to cut it off which now I need to order a new one when I go back to stock....

 

Little update again,
I got led interior lights for the trunk, map lights and dome lights.




I am working on the wiring for the homelink, but the one i bought didnt come with a wiring harness. so trying to figure that one out..

Also got a Jdm hazard button!!!




And lastly i installed some tweeters in the factory location!




Sounds so much better! i just tapped into the door speakers for sound, and wala!

Nice! Sometimes I wish I would have gotten a base model and moved up from there. I'm getting set to do the interior lights also. I did the math and you can save quite alot of hp. Well... just about 1 hp. Regular bulbs are very inefficient.

 

Where did you get your interior lights?

 

i ordered mine off of collge hills honda, the dome light and map light bulbs were 5.95 a peice i believe, and the trunk one was about 2 dollars more, they fit great, look great, and they're bright!
