Thanks! Luckily all we get are torrential downpours rather than storms. The most blocked it gets is from the back-spray. Even then, I have a nice coat of sealant on my windows so it's pretty slick

Finally got to acquiring some Axis lights. Polished, sealed, and a few OEM sockets later and I am much in love with the new look.

Additionally, more parts for my build have come in. Next up, flying back home to Japan to pick up some final pieces

Here's a spoiler of my new shoes:

Great work, makes me wish I had a white Fit! Do you ever miss not having the rear wiper? I like the look of it removed.

Not at all. If I had the time and money, I would get the panel shaved. But it suffices and would be one of the last things I'd do Did the same on my 94 Integra. Guess I'm just not a fan of rear wipers to begin with haha.

do you have any direct side shots of the car? trying to get an idea of the JDP lip with the mugen rear.. how it flows with stock side skirts..

have same question as other poster did.. whether to do this or modulo front lips or STI lip

thanks

I'll get you a pic when I head into work today. The lip matches perfectly with the stock sides, but the rear just hangs slightly lower. Which is why I have plans to re-do the front and sides in the near future

I was a little gung-ho with trying to get things done all last year... good thing I didn't. Had a lot of time to mingle with all you fellow Fitters, as well as carefully plan out where I want to go.

2015. It's going down.

Hahaha, come on now.

I'm with Burzpaw, another 3 to 4 months...IMPOSSIBLE for myself. And you were talking about these early last year if memory serves, so I couldn't imagine you waiting that much longer. Though I do understand if you need to wait. At least you have them in your possession now.

Haha. True. I knew that once I had a piece of it, I wouldn't be able to stop. Personal decision to make sure that I had my priorities in order before pleasure. Now that things have leveled off, it's back to getting it done.

'tis a secret! But I'll give you specs - nothing fancy: 17x7 +42. Still deciding on 195 or 205 for tires.

Haha I haven't visited my own thread for a bit over a year now.

Not much really has happened since the last update. Sold the Axis, and put on my OEM ones. Have some J's waiting to put on.

Most recently, finally got the car low!:

First, had to get some meat on the shoes:

Then mounted them before install of the suspension:

Post-install, aired down (limited by the tire size):

And the set up, nicely tucked into the spare tire well (which is small as heck compared to most cars!):

Much thanks Connor!

Weekend update:
Installed:
  • JDP duckbill spoiler
  • J's Racing leather sports steering wheel
  • "J's Racing" CF steering trim
  • J's/Stellar-V LED tails

Comparison of the old and new.

JDP Duckbill installed.

Duckbill (top) comparison to OEM+ (bottom)

Was anticipating this to be hard to take off.

No real struggle.

Ready to transfer (and I have no idea how to rotate the picture via this upload thing).

Annnnnd there we go, with additional CF trim.

Haven't updated in a bit. Wow, actually about a year to be exact.

Never did upload a pic of the steering wheel installed:

Anyway, after a year on being on my AirRex, I needed to upgrade (for my poor old body and to pass recon here in Hawaii). No pictures of the actual strut pieces but, here is a re-lowered Moose:

Additionally, finally got the Shuttle lip, as well as Brandon's custom BYS-style wing painted.

Got my Recaros in, along with Bride RO rails (not pictured) just waiting to be installed:

Lastly, got hooked up with a deal for a brand new sport bumper to paint and then add the shuttle lip to (after cutting it up for the fogs):
