Hi y'all,

Just wanted to post up some in cam footage from random track weekends. I have some other footage from my Redline days, but it has to be retrieved from other people so I'll just post up what i can find and update the thread as I find more!

Once again, I truly do believe that 15" wheels and tires are still the best combo for ANY fit in any hpd situation. The only reason i tried out this 16" setup was to clear the new Buddy Club Racing Spec Brake Kit w/o too much modifications. Although, we are in the process of modifying the brake kit so that I can go back to the sea of 15" wheels and tires in storage!!!

Feel free to ask any questions/comments/concerns and i apologize for the lighting/audio/resolution of the videos as they are raw footage i currently do NOT have a computer (tablet and phone posting ftw!) to edit jack





The best i was able to hit was 1:36 which is not as good as i would've like, however, i found out later that one of my engine mounts were loose (yikes). I was trying to figure out if taking a lot of turns in 3rd gear instead of 2nd was better, but either it just felt slower or the tires didn't have enough grip to let me bomb in, in 3rd gear so i ended up mostly redlining 2nd gear!

Hoping to get back to the low 1:30's if not 1:20's (slicks) w/ 15" wheel/tire setup at the Feb 27th track day!

 

Which course was this at? Willow Springs I believe.
