Thanks for checking out my Fit :wavey: |
Welcome to FF. It's definitely not much when it comes to speed and pretty much is lacking any testosterone, but when driven properly it can be a load of fun.

I'm really liking the car so far. After putting 20k miles on the car I've grown to love it and I'm glad I picked it up. |

Picked up a T1R test pipe from another member. I tried to install it today with no avail. All the stock nuts and bolts are seized so I'm going to a shop to get it installed.

Shouldn't need to use that extender for the 02 sensor as the secondary sensor resides in front of the secondary catalyst on the stock piece. I'm guessing that is what that is, but it doesn't look threaded, but could just be the photo and glare.

Got the Test Pipe installed today. I'm pretty happy with the results although I would like to be a little louder, but part of that has to do with the fact I drive an A/T. Maybe I'll get the T1R header down the road but I'm worried that'll be a bit too loud/raspy and I'll have to get another resonator, and I don't want to ruin the T1R b-pipe.
I've lost low end torque for sure but I've seemed to gain a bit more kick in the mids around 3500-4000k; I actually feel myself being pushed back in the seat a bit. Also, you can hear/feel vtec just a little bit more. About 6-8ft away: From a dig till 4th (interior w/ windows up): :vtec: I plan on getting it tuned eventually so all these parts actually do something other than make me louder. |
Man, that's fine work and with such great pictures too. You have a good eye for composition and light.

I took the pictures but I have to give credit to my mother for editing the pictures. I can do basic edits and touch ups but she knows all the little tricks so I just let her do it haha |

Crappy iPhone shot from yesterday evening. That's my buddies is250 behind me.
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/atta...ine=1469371606 Can't wait to get this thing lowered and on a proper set of rims and tires |
Just passed 80k miles today!
Currently saving up for coilovers, rims and tires. Can't make up my mind on rim dimensions though. I'm never happy when it comes to rims  |

Welp... I ran over a box of nails on the way to work a few weeks ago so Instead of replacing the two rear tires with nails in them, I decided to buy new wheels and tires. I already replaced my front passenger tire this year because of a slow leak, and after the box of nails my rear passenger tire started leaking as well (think I filled it up with only 12psi left in it...yikes!).
XXR 527 17x7.5 +40 Chromium Black Kumho Ecsta 4X II 205/40/17 Rims in question: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/atta...ine=1471373232 https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/atta...ine=1471373232 And here is a picture of my car with poorly photoshopped 527s lol https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/atta...ine=1471373519 |
If you're not dropped, then you don't have to worry. But if you do drop, your fronts will stick out a smidge with that tire size and without going with a smaller width and/or rolling your fender, you'll rub. Rears will be near flush.

I plan on getting some coils here in the coming months. Another user on here has almost this exact setup but he's running 17x7 +40 not 17x7.5 +40. He's on Tanabe DF210 and has to run negative camber in the front not to rub. I'm more worried about the clearance on my b-pipe than anything. Think I should have went with 205/45/17 instead of 205/40/17 :(

Neat! That's me! If you have any ?s I'd be happy to answer.
Can't really get coils for a few months since these wheels and tires set me back more than expected, but I'd like to be prepared when I do. It's my daily so I can't be without it...daily haha Thanks! |
I put the camber bolts on after the initial drop because it rubbed not on the fender but the liner inside. My setup is 17x7 +40 on 205/40/17 General Max AS-03. I used the ingalls brand camber kit, but I used TWO bolts on each side to achieve -2.25. That's two sets or four bolts total. When I can today I'll post a picture up close of the wheel gaps!
I can drive with a fully loaded car, people or objects (I've used it to move), comfortable without rubbing on the freeway. Except for those really massive bumps that make all cars bounce like crazy and even then it's rare |
