Little negative camber would probably fix that.

I ask, because using "tuner lugs" with cone shaped seats on oem wheels that use ball/flat seats is dangerous.

Also, if you are looking to aftermarket lugs, pretty much every parts site you can think of has them.

There are different styles of lugs. You cant mix and match with wheels. You could do damage to both the lugs and wheels. Worst case scenario, the lugs could back off and you could loose your wheel.

just get the right kind

^ It's about this much bad. Give or take an inch or two.

Just kidding, now I'll try to answer your question seriously.

It's bad because the aftermarket lug nut doesn't seat correctly against the OEM wheel. They're simply different shapes. Here found a picture:

If you really want to use aftermarket lug nuts on your OEM alloys, you could get adapters/washers to convert the seat.

Personal experience:

Guy who bought my 91 Civic Si put the Muteki's from my SSR's on to the stock wheels.

The wheel came off at speed.

Yes the oem wheels take round or ball seat lug nuts. I would agree, just use your stock nuts on the stock wheels. That adapter is interesting, but seems the tiniest bit unsafe. Probably fine though. I don't think there a lot of options for aftermarket ball seat nuts. If it's color that's bothering you, just take your lug nuts to a powder coating place.

EDIT: Well I guess there are some cheap ones on ebay in different colors...http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...+ball+lug+nuts

Hey, cool beans, I was wondering about this the other day, thanks for posting. Before I clicked the link I was worried about how thick the adapter was but it seems to be super-thin which is good as far as how much the lugnuts thread onto the stud.

I see people all the time with tuner lugs on stock wheels and I always hope you don't diaf

Hopefully they're using these and i'm just uninformed.

Would those eBay ball seat lugs be any good? Stripping, breaking off? Etc. the reason I ask is because i do want different color lug nuts but would like to keep the stock ones as back up or if I want to return to stock!
