FS: “Vincenzo” 2012 Fit Sport AT <2600 miles ~ Mint ~ MN $17,500 OBO
Edit: No longer for Sale
Overview: I bought this car in September 2011 and use it every day to get to work. I love the car, but I want to take my finances in a new direction. This involves selling the car, buying a cheap used car, and investing the difference. The car is paid off and has a clear title. The 3 year warranty is still in effect, and you can buy a longer one fairly easily (search the forum). The link in my signature has a good amount of pictures, I will see if I can get some more up. Before I go any further, the car is sold as is where is. I am an honest seller, and only willing to sell to an honest buyer. Funny business = no sale. Period.
KBB lists the value of the car as such:
Excellent
$18,007
Very Good
$17,507
Good
$16,957
Fair
$15,407
The Bad:
1) The car had one issue with the transmission this summer: 2012 Fit AT - Transmission leak with pictures. The transmission was replaced, so the new one only has about 1,000 miles on it.
2) The car has a ding on the driver door about the size of a quarter. I am sure it can be repaired professionally quickly for $100 or less.
3) The plastic cover on the side of the front passenger seat has a split. It is just the cover, the seat belt anchor is completely unaffected. I will see if I can get a picture of this added to the album at the link below.
4) It has seen snow a handful of times, but last year was not that bad in this part of MN.
The Good:
1) Also included are weather tech digital fit floor mats in Black, front and rear. Original mats will be included as well. I am also including a very nice set of PVC Clazzio seat covers. They transform the car, as you can see in the pictures. I also have a broadway rearview mirror currently installed.
2) Other than the one ding, the car looks as good as a brand new car on the lot. The paint is perfect, not so much as a bug splattered on the front bumper. The tires still have the blue and pink markings on them, for whatever reason those are there. I have washed the car about 8-10 times at the local car wash and have most of the receipts.
2) I have also been driving around with the Progressive "snapshot" plugged in. As of today, I have recorded 820+ miles on the device with 15 hard brakes (7 mph decrease in 1 second). This is a very low amount, and it qualifies me for the maximum discount the program offers. The car has never been driven hard, probably not even briskly.
3) I did the DIY A/C condenser guard within the first week of owning the Fit. It is a fairly robust application, so it should last the life of the car.
4) The car had its 1 year service in September 2012.
5) I have used TOP TIER gas for every fill up.
6) The car has been garaged every single night since I drove it home, no exceptions.
Wrap-up: The car is ready to do several hundred thousand miles for whoever buys it. I will most likely only post the car for sale on FitFreak, as I am looking for a hassle-free sale, and have no need to sell quickly. This is a great opportunity to buy an almost-new car at a significant discount. I paid $20,300 for the car, $270 for the Clazzio covers, and $170 for the floormats, total: $20,740. Feel free to ask any questions by replying to this post or sending me a private message. If you or someone you know is looking for a new or used Fit, this should be the one! Non-local buyers are ok, and I can pick you up at the local airport (RST, or MSP for a bit of extra $).
Edit: I overestimated the mileage in the thread title. Today it only has 2419 miles on it.
