WTB/WTT Canadian Pie-Plate wheels that come with the Fits.

BTW, the wheels that come with the DX/LX models are 15" wheels... just the above thread started about 16" wheels if you were confused..

Check out the Insight (previous gen) and Civic Hybrid wheels. I can't say for sure that they are the same, but in any case, the look is very similar. The Civic likely has a 5-bolt pattern, although I can't confirm this quickly, but I suspect the Insight, like the Fit, is one of the few remaining models to use the 4-bolt pattern.

You will of course need to check the size and width, but you should be able to get an idea of whether they'll work or not. If so, this would probably be far easier to obtain.

I had a similar experience at one point when I was interested in lighter wheels for my del Sol. I wanted a Honda look and I could not find any Fit wheels for sale at a decent price. The contemporaneous Civic Hybrid was a good match, and they ended up looking really cool on the car.

 

Thanks, but they're not the same. The Canadian DX/LX are 4 bolt, the civic are 5-bolt x 115mm. The Canadian ones aren't impossible to obtain (I've already heard of two transactions, and I'm not TOO far from Canada...)

The 2000-2006 Insight wheels are nice, but they're 14"s. Insight 14"s... nice.. but I don't think it would be a great idea to go to 14"..

I don't mind if others on pipe up on this thread... perhaps we can arrange for a Canada to US wheel rescue mission if there is enough demand, which I think there is... surely there are a lot of people up there taking them off in order to get other rims.. or even these wheels sitting in junkyards on totaled fits...

I got a set, three in okay shape, one is bend, but not cracked. should be repairable. Located in Toronto Ontario.
