Another DF210 help thread

Hey guys and gals, I need a little guide for the installation of the Tanabe DF210 (TDF143). I'm not sure if I'm suppose to cut 20mm off the bump stops all around or what. Does anyone have an installation guide viewable online?
I looked up on google and I found LINK. I rarely do any hauls, but if I do, its like 300ish+ pounds in the rear. Someone linked www.poffworld.com/springs but I need a username and password..
Anyways, what do you TDF210 owners think of the products? Does anyone have a picture at ground level to show how much of a drop is it?
I am planning on getting it off ebay for 200.00 shipped. LINK.
any other information will be appreciated!
THANKS!

Sometimes it depends on the user. I remember tanabe use to include bumpstop with their springs. But now they don't...

oh ok, it doesn't seem to be major cutting anyways right? i was debating these or eibach sportlines, since they are about the same price.

I actually saw Don's ride and I like the drop of it (pro-kit). Now I am debating on those and DF210. So its Eibach vs. Tanabe. Does anyone have any comments on these? Ride quality, rubbing, etc..
Df210- 1.3/1.8
Pro-Kit- 1.2/1.4

or go with Swifts. No screwing around with bumpstops. Ride remains the same too.

Yea, I actually did some research on all different kind of brands. I like how the front drops but I want more. Swifts drop 1.2/1.0. But thanks!! I really like your car (: Esp the brake calipers. How did you do it?

hi kevin. i've had the DF210s installed for a little more than 13k miles now. i forget how much i cut the bumpstops. there will be instructions in the box letting you know how much to cut but i can't recall off the top of my head.

niko's install instructions were very helpful. i just had my brother help me out and we completed it in about 2.5 hours taking our time.

as for the ride, it's pretty good. by now, my rear shocks are probably blown and your rear passengers WILL feel it. i haven't looked into aftermarket sport shocks recently. i'm hoping there's something available for GEs already.

but as a driver, they're still comfortable enough everyday on the SF roads you and i drive.

feel free to ask away if you've got any more questions.

-nes

Hey nes, I was wondering if you have any pictures of your springs. For some reason, on the tanabe box, they spelled good as goos and before as befor. Here is the picture:

I'll take a look tomorrow. I still have the box in my closet. the box looks exactly like that though. are you suspecting that it's bootleg? LOL! I think it's probably fine, just erroneous spelling on their part.

Actually, I called Tanabe and asked them about it. They have the same spelling issue. They laughed and said that they never knew about that. I guess it's fine! LOL. If I have time, I will put it on this Saturday at school :].
