tein s tech springs

seriously looking at tein s tech springs

drop looks great, price is perfect

just have a few questions

1. does anyone have any experience running these with stock shocks, struts?

2. will my stock wheels/tires rub at all after the drop (especially with 4 people in car)

3. how is the ride, because i will be using these for daily driving

not worried about performance, more doing springs for look

car is brand new 200 miles on it

thanks in advance

Hey whats going on ? Honestly I have had them for a while now and with the stock rims and tires , it feels great! People mistake the stance for being on coilovers ... but I usually have my wife and daughter and occasionally a fourth person with no rubbing ! Only time I rubbed was on a dip on the highway doing 115 mph ! Lol and I have them on the stock shocks and struts ! On certain bumps u really feel the harshness of the bump but nothing crazy !! I don't regret having them on my 09 fit ! Wish I can afford coils but these are great and not disappointed at all !! I say go for it !! And where u getting them at? I got mine at assaultech.com cause they were the cheapest online and they will price match !! BuT yea man go for it !!

Hey junkie! I took your advice and just ordered my s-techs earlier today off assaultech. $195+free shipping. I cant wait for them to get in!!

And you said they ride good with stock shocks, but do you know if they are much harder on them? like extra wear/tear since youve had'em?

Congrats on ur purchase ! But yea I'm sure it's gonna be a little harder on the shock and faster wear but not fast enough for us to notice right away atleast! I haven't noticed on mine and I ve had them for approximately 8000 miles and still feels the same !! Hopefully by the time it doesn't fully wear out , there should be aftermarket shocks out for us !! But I wouldn't sweat it to much unless u gonna have crazy amount of wait all the time and massive amount of driving !!! But u should be ok

I was just wondering which one would be better but since you don't have any experience with the t1r, it's cool, I'll do more research on it. Thanks tho!

Hey JDMJunkie, your car looks great. What's your opinion on the s-tech vs. eibach sportlines?

Hey what's going on? Well thanks man that's
Old pics of my old setup! But anyway to ur question , um obviously I have only messed with the tein s tech, but the sportline def have an aggressive dropped compared to the tein! But all up to u, lil ruff ride but a nice and aggressive drop or a real decent drop with a comfortable ride ! Ask around ! Or save up for coils ! I love them and that's the way to go!

Hi guys, I have a GE6 down here in Australia.
I'm running 17x7 CR Kais with 215/40/17 tyres.
If I get these springs (hopefully cheap from the U.S.), will i rub? Just want to know because the drop is more than SWIFTS but at the same time these are $100 cheaper if not more.
Also, hows the performance wise? Anyone done mountain runs on these? Thanks!
