??'s for you buddy clubbers'...or any coilover peeps...

i just installed my buddy club coilovers. I noticed there's a clunking sound when i drive. it seems sporatic so i can't pinpoint what it could be. I just re-tightened everything just to be sure. Could it be the coils shifting around because the top cat and the collars are metal?

Did you folks reuse the top strut bolt or did u use the one that came with the coilovers? I think it came with a 19mm nut...while our stock ones are that inch long 17mm ones.

Or did you use both: tightened the aluminum strut hat w/ the 19mm nut (provided by buddy club) and then put over the stock rubber hat....then installing it with the stock 17mm bolt onto the chassis...?

Also, what are you're ride settings? I can't read the japanese instructions. So is all the way left the softest and all the way right the hardest? I rode it at 5 clicks starting from full left...and now at 10 clicks from full left. Its a real bumpy ride on the freeway. Kinda want a smoother ride but I guess the roads here suck.

Are you guys bumping around like me?

Final question...is it just me or can we not get it up to stock height with these coilovers? I think i have it maxed up almost to the highest in the rears on the coil side. THe strut side can go up but won't it compress anyway and not give it much height? reason for me asking this is we have safety inspection here in Hawaii and I need to get it back to stock height to pass.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you use both rubber isolators on the rear springs and coilover perch ? Use the provided 19 mm nut.up front to assemble.the shock.then the long 17 under the cowl that came.off.stock.mount all.the way counter clockwise is full soft I have mine at 5 clicks clockwise rides pretty good . Did you preload the front springs
