Why no aftermarket FRONT sway bars?

It seems these are available for other rides but why aren't there any front sway bars available on the 2nd Gen Fit? I'd love to lose the mini-van feel!

I already have the progress rear bar but it's not a big difference on the sport.

What are you wanting, a smaller bar to increase the rear-end movement more? Spoon has a bar for the CR-Z (stock 16mm) that also works on the Fit, but it is 2mm bigger (25mm) which in turn will induce a slight bit more understeer. The CR-Z is much more tail happy than the Fit and this bar makes it much more neutral handling. So you could put the CR-Z bar on if you want a more tail happy Fit experience.

The fit I've been driving doesn't have a mini van feel at all. sure it lean's a bit, but the rubber's on the road. With a bit of educated throttle control theres little push.

Cusco has a front anti-sway bar available. They recently changed it from 22mm to 24mm. I got the 24mm version, and i quite like it

Bought mine thru raceinspired.com. Good service, competitive pricing.

Why would you want to pay money for more understeer?

Exactly, stick a rear bar under it if anything.

with sprint springs (which shift quite a bit more roll resistance to the rear) and an aftermarket rear sway bar, a front bar would go a long way to help even out the grip, and add quite a bit of steering response in the process...

but i would only do it if i had aforementioned springs and rear sway...

Didn't see you had a rear bar already. Try some springs and or shocks next.

Some of us track our cars on weekends.

Some of us just appreciate driving a car thats dialed in.. why does it matter?

Granted your other car is a minivan, a dodge no less, so I could see where that might throw you off.

Jon you have yet to come back. What do you want from your Fit? Go get the CR-Z bar from Honda if you want more tail-happy driving or grab the Spoon or Cusco front bar that is just a couple mm larger than the stock bar.

I wish SWIFT would make a set of bars for the GE. Same metallurgy that goes into their springs goes into their stabilizers. Had a set on my 5R and they were fantastic. Although I have zero need for a rear bar, currently the car is phenomenal to drive.

Raced karts there a number of years ago, think it was around 03'.I think the track was new, no rubber on the track at all and it was hot as hell! I remember it took us like 12 hours to get there from Wisconsin. And when we got there, it was a track in the middle of nowhere in the middle of an old corn field. Good times!!

Cool, we were running CES series in F200, SSX, 125 Shifter. We later drooped the F200's, (I got sick of rebuilding engines in the pits until 2am in order to race the next day) and went 125cc TaG. I still have all three of my karts and haven't raced in over five year. Road America is still tops! just a blast being in a four or five kart draft @ 115 coming into corner 1 and not lifting!

No race tires, no front sway upgrade needed on a FF. My opinion.

Without race tires, some lean is a good thing. Like it's probably not a good idea to run all-seasons and teenKg springs.

Just seems like money that could be better spent elsewhere on the car.
