Buddy Club N+ Coilovers (GE8)
Hello,
I installed my GE8 coils front and rear but have a few questions for those of you who also have this kit installed, or are familiar with the BC N+ setup for the GE8.
1st, the rear struts are threaded...but why? Does this allow for height adjustment from the strut and the spring?? There is what appears to be a red "lock ring" on the rear strut itself, does the strut thread inside of itself?
2nd, Alignment. I bought the BC extended ball joints thinking that I would be able to install them myself and allow for a better alignment.Did you install the Buddy Club extended ball joints? They need to be pressed into the LCA and Honda will not do this service for me because "we don't service them. we replace the entire assembly.
...I'm trying to get my car to pass inspection in Maryland. I'm already pissed that they are making me remove the window tint. I need some help with the suspension. I know, car's dirty in the pics.
Thanks.

The rear shock does indeed thread into itself, but I don't see why with my setup. They come threaded the furthest they can go right out of the box, so there is no need to touch it unless you decided to try and raise the car for whatever reason. It would make more sense if the shock length could be shorter so the spring stays captive when I three-wheel, but whatevs. Moving on...
I don't have the ball joins personally, but have you considered just taking it to a shop? Honda usually refuses to install anything not OEM due to warranty issues and whatnot.
