1 Attachment(s)
Hi I'm new, long time reader, first time poster. I want to get some of these esm 002 rims. 16x8 with 20 offset. I currently have swift spring on the car. Will this set up work or will I end up spending a lot of money on modifications to make this set up work. I plan on getting 205-45-16. Will this set up rub? I appreciate all your help from the fit gods. Also I have search the forums many times for this question. Thanks

Do you know how this set up will ride?

onetwothree 08-08-2013 05:59 PM

I've got 15x7 +20, lowered on tein and rubbed in rears with full load so I rolled. Front I haven't rolled but only rub on big bumps when I go fast, 16x8 +20 should be a little worse

Oh ok. What size tires do you have?

onetwothree 08-08-2013 09:29 PM

running 185/60 to fill up my guards and little stretch

60 wow. Does anybody know any good place to have my fenders pulled and stretched, in so cal?

I keep seeing these threads pop up with people wanting to run 16X8 +20 offset so here is a pic of my fit with my work wheels with those specs so you guys know what you're in for. You will need to roll and pull your rear fenders in order to fit.

Can you post more pics with different angles?. Thanks in advanced

onetwothree 08-09-2013 04:06 AM

Rears are easy, fronts need camber bolts

i have seen this setup on ff.net
IMHO the fender tire gap does not look good with this setup .
you need to lower more to run this setup, preferably coilovers.

It's funny how other small cars can fit 9" wheels with no problem because of the design of the fenders.

The Mazda 2 guys are running 15x9 without pulling or rolling fenders but it's because of all that room under the fenders.I bet our cars would look great with some 15x9 6ul's
