Are GK Rear Brakes and hubs same as GE?

I found this rear brake conversion for the GK (http://www.gotuning.com/product_info...oducts_id=1786) and was wondering if it'd fit on the GE. I'm doubting it though. Fastbrakes is out of their rear disk brake brackets and said they're not getting any more made. I've been looking everywhere. If anyone knows where I can get a set of rear disk brakes for my Fit, please let me know! I gotta make it happen... Thanks! -Brian

I dont think so, they are different. GE has welded hubs, the GD and GK have bolted hubs.

Here is the GK hub inside.

And the back of it, sorry its not a better angle of what you are looking for.

if you check out my rear air shock absorber mod thread, you can view my videos of the rear, it should give some indication of they will fit. Sorry I didn't focus too much on the brake drum assembly. Hope this info helps.

Honestly, the car does not need disc brakes, unless you put larger diameter tires, kick up the HP, etc. Front brakes do 70% of the work anyway, drum brakes are more than adequate for the vehicle, though they are more of a PITA to work on.

Thanks for the Pics and the info! Yeah, I know it doesn't really require it, but I do plan to enhance all the aspects of it's performance including power. Other than that, It's just the car nut in me that really wants them. I upgraded the fronts too, so it just seems funky having upgraded fronts and drums on the rear.

I do know that one of the kits for the GD does fit onto the GE as well, so I figured that there might be a tiny chance it'd carry over to GK. But I'm sure changes have been made by the third generation that would make it not work in my favor!
