Just had my wheels and tires put on. Tenzo-R DC-5 all black 17x7 +45 offset with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 205/45/17 tires. Stock height right now with absolutely no rubbing. Not even close. I will try and post some pics tomorrow. Springs are on their way, should have those on within a week or two. I'll make sure to follow up after it is dropped.

legit te37 17x7.5 +40 205/40 Falken Ziex ZE512. Verry narrow tires. kinda regret getting them. not a fan of the stretch look.

thanks man. currently dropped on T1Rs. With stock wheels, not too shaby, but with the 17s and 205? pretty stiff. had it on for awhile now, so it doesnt bother me as much. still waiting to see how the ride is on coilovers. havent gone through the tires yet but being that i got falkens, the tires caves inwards so im thinking i could larger like 215s. But everyone on here has given their warnings with going larger than 205s. well, see.

i picked up some 16x7 +40 earlier tonight and they came with 2 195/50 and 2 205/45. The 205/45 look way to small so i test fitted the 195/50. I really want to go 205/50, but during my test drive i rubbed once on a slight bump. I'm on t1r too

im curious as to which tire company make "narrower" tire or one with less sidewall bulge.

Falken Ziex ze512. They run about a half to three quarters of an inch narrower than most any other tires in equivalent sizes. Yokohama s drives run a little wider than most. Just an FYI.

You will need to either run some camber up front, or pull your fenders. Otherwise, it will look slightly mexi flush.

Did a different wheel at 17x7 +38 and they're perfect.

Google search 1010tires offset calculator, put your width and offsets in, and look at the numbers. Your 8" et30 will "poke" aprox. 20mm more than the 7" et38.

205/50/16 16x7 +40. I knew i was going to rub but i was trying to be optimistic because i kept hearing that falken 512 run a but narrower. Im now thinking about running -1.5-1.9 degrees of camber. I currently have -0.5 degrees of camber up front according to my recent alignment.

I did some calculations, and i believe 1 more degree of camber would grant me about 5mm or so of clearance.

i've read that some ppl run spc camber bolt but those seems kind of pricey compare to oem civic camber bolts. I tried looking more into the civic camber bolts, but i couldn't really find more information. If anyone has more information on camber bolts, i'd appreciate it if they shared. Sorry, I'm a noob

here are some pics:

this picture is a but deceiving because the lip protector protrudes a bit

Your tires are kinda big honestly. 205/45-17 is almost exactly the same height as the factory 185/55-16. I have run 17x8 et38 with 205/40-17 with virtually no rubbing. It polished the plastic fender liner in the front.

I am now running 17x7.5 et35 f and 17x8.5 et48+8mm spacer (final et40) r with 205/40-17 Falken Ziex ze512. No rubbing and I am pretty low on buddy club n+ coilovers.

I intentionally wanted meaty tires and the 215/45 has a lot more options.
