7.5 and 43 offset equals major rubbage. I'll take 6.5 or 7 inches wide and 45 mm offset please.

Yeah, well there are people running as low as 40 with minimal problems, but it seems to be touch and go--there is no definitive as far as lower offsets. And because, as Coyote has pointed out to me, I am all about no mess, no fuss mods--I do not want to deal with fender pulling, etc. So I want to get 45mm to avoid all that.

If it were really up to me, I would get Rota Track R's...I LOVE those. Or Rota GT3's.

But they are all 40mm offsets. So, yeah.

If I had a good friend that would swap wheels with me for a weekend...so that I could see if the 40mm would work, I would order TrackR's that Monday. But NO one around here mods...blows. Plus, I don't have any friends, LOL. (jk they are all in Houston)

Yeah, I just took out rear seat, jack, and spare...WOW. Huge improvement in acceleration...this is the performance the car should of come with. Now I just can't wait for Hondata to come out with a tuning solution, because I would trade my right kidney for a stage 1 or 2 cam.

15lbs 17x7 +42 $196.

I'd go with the RPF-1's though, Ezra

I am sending my ECU to Hondata for a reflash in the near future. It is part of the Kraft Werks high boost kit.

I did some measuring on my car to ok some 215-50 -15s on 43mm offset RPF1s for macbuddy in NorCal and emailed him to get them and they fit fine.... We can figure this out... I'll PM you sometime tomorrow.

OP:
I roll Toyo Proxes 4s myself. Quite a good tire, nice grip, just not suitable for long jaunts on the track as it tends to overheat and lose traction after maybe 6 laps. Otherwise it won't disappoint you on-track. It gains and loses grip very progressively.

Can't complain about what it does, especially with a 300 treadwear rating. With the RPF1s that should be a great combo.

I don't think the 15s come with 43 mm offset...I have only seen 41 mm offset. 16s come with 43 mm offset.

Good to know. Thanks for the input. I was torn b/w Toyo's and Dunlop Direzza's. After calling numerous tire companies and reviewing sizes/spec sheets, I found that the lightest weight 15" tires were the General exclaim UHP and the Toyo Proxes 4. They are anywhere from 3-6 lbs lighter than all the other (ultra) high performance tire.

The KWSC is a great product...but I don't have any f/i plans in the immediate future. Hondata has no plans to make a flashpro solution for a naturally aspirated L15A. If/when this happens:
cam+piston+header+port&polish --->

Wheels for 2009 Honda Fit
Yeah I screwed up on that post. I think that at one time there was 41mm offset RPF1s and that I have them on my car... Even though 215-50-15 tires on 45 offset wheels mounted on a dropped Fit had clearance not to rub my RPF1s with 195-55-15s were lightly rubbing with the stock springs on the back on bumpy surfaces and I had to tweak the fender liners on the front to prevent rubbing.... I had to pull a little at the wheel well after the slight drop from after market springs.....It is surprising to me that there would be such a difference in results due to just 2mm.

Yeah--which is why I'm worried.

I may just end up getting 16x6.5 45mm offset rota boosts.
Light, stylish, and won't rub--plus will fit with lighter tires.

I'm still looking.

I know slips are played out but they are cheap and light...damn.
I don't know if I can afford 219 per wheel (aka rpf1's)
Played out or not they still look great and perf as far as weight goes. The classic BBS mesh is one of the most copied wheel out there and its still popular, I say if you like something, go for it

BlackandDecker, you car looks great, wish we had those black headlights in our cars, chrome because our car is "upscale", please! The entire headlight should've been done in that smoked chrome then, atleast it would be darker.

It just dawned on me that there is a thread by Village Idiot on Honda Fit Forums titled "Light weight wheels and tires = Great advantages". It is based on the gains experienced from the purchase and use of Enkei RPF1s and Conti Pro Contact tires .. The whole set of wheels and tires weighed 102 Lbs.
