16x7 Rims

Which is the better choice for a 16x7- offset 43 Rims?

205/40/16
215/40/16
195/45/16

MPG ?
STABILITY/SMOOTHER RIDE ?
ROAD FEEL and TURNS?
LOOKS ?

(I might lower the car)

Thanks

why not 45 series?
if you might lower your car you might experience a more bumpier ride.
195/45/16 looks good without much sacrifice.
you could even go 50 series if you want.
but what ever is the best deal is usually what i snatch up.

I run 205/45 on my 16x7. The diameter is only slightly off. My speedometer reading 60 means im really going like 57-58. So its not that big a difference. If you go 40-aspect ratio on anything smaller than a 215, itll throw off your speedo, and possibly mpg way more.

Road feel, turns and all that also depends a LOT on what kind/brand of tire you get as well. I like my Maxxis, pretty sticky for a 350+ treadwear rating.

As far as looks, anything with a smaller overall diameter will give you more wheel gap, which, if you are stock, is already monstrous lol. The only way I get away with it is being lowered. What wheels you have in mind?

My Mpg is the same as far as I can tell. Maybe my overall average went from 44.5 to 44.2......ohhh noooo lol. Handling is wayyyy better. Im not a tire expert, but I DO know the stock Dunlops(if the '11s still come with them) arent that good. So pretty much whatever tire you go with will be an upgrade. Good choice of wheel too btw

I went with 195/50_16 kuhmo asx for my 16x7+40 wheels and I'm glad I did perfect blend of a little wider but dont have that tall skinny tire look to them.like stock tires do

with those sizes, you're altering your OD quite a bit. and it'll look even gappier if you don't lower your car. why not 205/50/16? they're almost the same OD as stock. you can lower your car quite aggressively with that wheel offest and width even with a proper sized tire. good luck.
