Read this thread:

09 and 12 should be the same.

I had that exact size on my fit and if you go thru my progress thread https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...-progress.html you can see that size before the drop and after I put Drop Zone springs on it. The I went to a BIGGER size tire because of several issues including wheelwell gap. I went to Zeix ZE-512 215/45/17 tires on 17x7.5 +42 wheels and it worked great no RUB. Then I put on coil overs and RUB RUB RUB... With my coilovers all the way down on the 205/40/17's I had no rub except hi speed hard bumps on the freeway. (rare) I hope this helps along with all the info on here like...

Not true my friend. Check out my progress thread over in the GE8 photo/vid section, and look at some of my wheel/tire/spacer/suspension combos. With 17x7.5 et42f and et42+8 (final et 34)r and 205/40-17 on buddy club n+, only ever got very very slight rub on HUGE bumps/dips at highway speed. Unless I had 4 people in the car, then I would get some rub in the back. But not enough to worry about.

I also ran 17x8 et38f and 17x8et35r with205/40-17 falken 512 on dropzone lowering springs, and NEVER got any rubbing.

Currently, I'm running 17x7.5 et35f and 17x8.5 et48+8 (final et40) r with 205/40-17 falken 512 on buddy club n+ and ZERO RUBBING whatsoever.

rota boost 17x7.5 205 40 17 rub on front liners. just play it safe and stay with 45 and up offset. no finger gap on my car lowered on d2 coilovers. if you were on regular springs you would rub big timehttps://www.fitfreak.net/forums/pict...pictureid=5898

What is your offset on your rotas? I agree with you on playing it safe to stay with a +45 offset.
