Finally Got My Volk Wheels!

After a lot of research, I've finally found the wheels I wanted with the help of mike410b. Volk LE28N in gold with a polish lip. They look awesome as is and I think gold looks great on a white car but I plan to take it to a wheel shop and have them powder coat the gold to a hyper silver color with the polish lips. Should look awesome and I'll post pics once I get them on the car this weekend. Wheel size is 17 X 7 +43.

I'm having a hard time posting pics, can someone tell me how to do it? I click on "Advance" but I can't find the option to add images. I can only submit a link to my galleries.

Looks awesome!!! are you lowered? what size tire and brand

I'm trying to get a good idea of how 17's will look on a stock height GE8

I'm still deciding on a wheel/tire combo but I do not plan to lower my car at all.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm lowered on Swift Springs and the drop is perfect, I've only rubbed once when I hit a steep dip kinda fast. The tires are Hankook Ventus V12 205/45/17. If you don't plan on lowering the car then you might want to consider 205/50 so that the wheel well is filled up a little more. The lower weight of the wheels and the wider tires have definitely made my car feel a little sportier to drive

looks great! did you get new TPMS on those wheels? or is the light going off? i really want to get wheels and lower the car, but i also want my TPMS functional... was kinda wondering if you had it all working together on the new wheels or is the TPMS light just on?

thanks for the info, I'll probably go with a 205/45/17 and I don't mind the gap

I want to keep the diameter close to stock and not hurt my acceleration with the taller 50 series tire.

your car looks perfect with the new shoes on the Swifts!!!!!

I got my tires from Discount Tires. They were able to install the TPMS from my OEM wheels into the new ones. I read on this forum that I would have to take the car to the dealership to reprogram the TPMS but they were able to do this at Discount Tires. They only charged me $7.50 for each wheel. I, too, wanted to keep the TPMS. I had a flat tire last year and the TPMS really helped me from damaging my wheel.

ahhh the reply i was looking for!!!! iam going to get wheels for sure now.. thats kinda cheap. I am planning on just buying wheels from ebay and then taking it to discount tire to get some tires and hopefully transfer the TPMS over... sooo the stock TMPS would go huh.. I was under the impression you had to get new ones.

this is great news again, thanks!

that TPMS was the only thing kinda keeping me from getting new rims.. I am going to lower the car first. I think iam going to go your route and just get some swifts or tanabe's

As long as the TPMS will physically fit in the wheel, they shouldn't need to reprogram anything, just install it into the new wheel.
