Newbie tire/wheel question...
I'm not too familiar with how wheel specs work so maybe someone could educate me.
I'm looking at a 2013 Fit base and hate the hubcaps. I'd like to upgrade the wheels but keep the tires until they wear out. Since the tires are a strange narrow size, are there custom wheels that will fit the stock tires? I hear you need to keep them at 15x6 but I haven't seen any wheels for the Fit on Tire Rack's website that are narrower than 6.5. Please let me know what wheel specs might be compatible with the 175/65-15 stock tires.
Thanks!

I agree that the factory wheel covers are rather blah. A new/different set of wheel covers/hub caps will be a lot less expensive than new wheels, and should be pretty easy to find; all you have to do is get something for the correct wheel diameter.
For what it's worth, the factory tires aren't anything special; there are plenty of tires around that perform and ride better. If you're spending a decent amount of money on replacement wheels, IMHO it makes little sense to search far and wide to find ones that are the exact same size merely to be able to use up the ho-hum factory tires.
