White Plasti Dip on Sport OEM

6 months so far and the Plasti Dip is proving to be quite durable. The only PITA is keeping them clean

I like that. Pretty nifty idea
I've had white wheels before they are not fun to keep clean.

What's the best way to keep them clean without tearing the plasti-dip?

Good paint job is key. I made sure to apply at least 2-3 coats, which i feel is main reason it hasn't pealed off yet. Occasional washing will make the job easier of course. I usually don't let a month go by before giving the wheels a light wash. Get a rough sponge and mix any car soap with a hint of Dishwasher Soap (I found that it helps) for best results. Also be sure not to get any Tire Shine on the dip because it leaves a stain behind which is tough to get out. Lucky for me I'm obsessed with keeping my car clean

Good stuff!
I plastidipped the rear diffuser for my Fit. Got it done in October and still holding strong through the harsh winters of Toronto.

Hi. I am dipping my sport rims white tomorrow, really looking forward to a new look for the summer. Is there any advantage of spraying clear coat on top of plasti dip and does it work at all? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

use 1 can of glossifier to cover 4 wheels. i'd give it 1-2 thick layers of glossifier. u'll see a nice sheen wet look when u spray it on right. it will give ur plastidip a smooth shiny look when all finished, instead of the rough matte finish.

wouldn't really need to with the glossifier. wax gives matte finish a smoother surface, some sheen.
