I have a set of Mini R81 Imola/"Holies" I've been waiting about a year to install. Now I have a flat on some rather worn tires, so its time for a wheel/tire upgrade. I'm ordering the lugs from Jegs, I have to order the tires from 1010tires, and I've decided they should get some paint.

Right now, they're white, and that would look pretty good. But I'm curious to know what other colour suggestions you guys might have for a Blue Sensation Pearl car. I've thought about Hugger Orange, or maybe Plum Crazy. Before you say it, yes I have a thing about old muscle car colours. Something wild. So what say you?

 

Keep the white, if its not too late.

 

They are still white. I'm having a time of it trying to find the right wheel nuts in Canada. To get them from Jegs is over $70 after shipping and SHAFTA fees.

 

Check out Amazon. I got a used set of Gorilla nuts and locks for about $35 free shipping!

 

Might be worth checking. A friend of mine may be buying them as a gift... *wink wink* and send them cross the border that way.

 

so do you need some kind like taper nut to able to run the mini wheels?

I believe so. The stock lugs are too short to fit properly. There's a thread that explains the problem somewhere on here, but I can't remember what the post was called.
