Lightbulb Shopping around for wheels. New Poll.

What's up everyone!
I've been in the market looking for new shoes.

To preface, not concerned about driving fast, tracking, autox, and on the flip side, I'm like 60% on the "herrafrush" slam your grocery getter scene.
Sometimes it looks good, sometimes it looks straight stupid. I get that.

Anyway, not too worried about keeping to OEM wheels specs/geometry.
Definitely going to be rolling and pulling fenders with a mild to semi-stupid tire stretch.
Trying not to run camber on the fronts, but not too upset if I have to as long as it's in reason.
Not worried about knockoffs. Not really trying to impress anyone, just working with what I have.

Shopping around for a 16x8 wheel on a 195/45 or a 205/45 tire.
Just thought I'd get some feedback from everyone, would love to gather perspectives from all.

Here's my car now, just for reference.
Lowered on function/form type II coilovers.
Obviously don't mind sitting low(ered)

Currently looking at these wheels

Stance Encore Black. 16x8 +26

Gold

Klutch SL1 Dark Bronze/Black Lip 16x8 +18 <-- ()

This image is of Andrei8's car on this forum.

Encore Black

Encore Gold

Klutch SL1 Bronze (definitely some more poke, but you get the idea)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/h4lerr8g0h...utchbronze.jpg

Actually just found a dude with them on instagram who just put them on, kind of a crummy image of the wheels, but the wheels were not the subject.

Anyway, if anyone has any other suggestions let me know. Doesn't have to be 16x8 but I'm essentially shopping around for a 16" wheel. Budget of $900ish. Big fan of the mesh designs. I guess I'm looking for a design with a lip, a design with concave, design with mesh, or a combination of all, or if you really just think a certain wheel would look better for this car, I'm open to suggestions!

Voted Encore black, was always a fan of them on that car you posted.

Enkei Compe?
http://compare.ebay.com/like/271135985443?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar
I'm not a huge fan of classic mesh wheels on new cars which the Klutch kind of tries to copy I think, but the Encore is a different take on it, which is cool.

Always liked deep dish wheels but recently trending toward concave.

Also like Enkei

encore black looks nice. Would you happen to know the lip on that Fit that has the klutch rims?

I say all of the above and switch it out every month LOL. Sorry for not helping-- love the look of 'em all.
Klutch is doin' the hokey pokey in those pics but I know 16x8 +20 with 195/45 or 205/40 with camber and maybe a little fender roll is possible to tuck. With that said, +18 can still possibly be money.

The guy with the klutch wheels is running 205 width. He replied to someone asking on instagram. I'm pretty sure that offsett is gonna take some work to fit correctly. Most people can't run the usual xxr 16x8 + 20 due to the poke. I can imagine +18 being the same. Have you thought about running RPF1 in 8 width +38 offsett? it's damn near perfect !

I'll vote klutch though. Just because I wanna see what it looks like before trying it myself in all white! [=

EDIT: The GE8 isn't listed as an application for your coils. Did they just bolt on regardless?

Interesting wheel for sure. Feels a little too meaty for my taste if that makes any sense? Or maybe because that other fella on here is running them on 225 wheels and I can't get that image out of my head

RPF1's are dope. I just feel like it's been done a whole lot?
Could be an option though. Fitment would work waaaay better of course so there's that.

No Idea what lip that is unfortunately

Haha, could be interesting for me to be the guinea pig, but someone beat me to it.

Also, I have no idea what you are talking about with the coilovers, sir.
I bought mine second hand but I've seen specific applications for them on the 09+ Honda Fits, Slopps' GE8 was on there website showing them off for a long while. Straight bolt on!

I'm constantly debating between the two constantly.

Deep dish is dope. Love the mad lips. Love, love, love the look.
But sometimes can feel played out (even if I still think it looks amazing)
Almost like the "scene" is saturated with it (because it looks soo damn good)

But with the concave it's a much more... I'm not sure... subtle attractiveness.
Maybe because you tend to see it less? Feels almost refreshing.

Really attracted to both for different reasons. Seems to be split fairly evenly 50/50 no matter where I post this first world dilemma of mine.

Don't know if it's just the angles but the concaves are lookin' much more promising for elegance. They sort of "fit" the Fit's design way better to me now. But if Klutch had a lil deep dish with a sort of concave mesh, I'd be on dat. Just my 2 cents

stick with OEM wheels

anyway, i'll vote with encore gold. But everyone of them are damn beautiful. Wish i could go low as you!

The RPFs with that 16x8 +38 offset sure looks like s3x as well.

How about BBS RS wheels?

Here is my friend's GE8 with RS wheels though he is running 17s

I vote for the Klutch rims!

If you're not bothered about replicas...Ever considered the Rota D154 or Kyusha?
