Continental DW's?
Why would you want to throw off your speedo so much? 205-50-16 is pretty much the same diameter as the OEM 185's... It's a perfect match.
^^^ Good choice.
I have the same size & tires (but DWS) on the OEM 16's, and if I'd known how good they were I would've swapped them out since day 1 of owning the car.
I do also have 205-55-15's for my 15" set of wheels...

The difference was like night and day when I replaced the oem Dunflops with the Yokohama's currently on the car. Looking forward to see how the DW's do when I get them put on Wednesday. The oem tires (and Dunlops in general, imho) are just nasty.
Got the DW's installed today. Other than a glitch with the tire pressures (installer did not reset them after mounting the tires, pressures ranged from 37-39psi) Once I corrected the pressures the ride got much better. If I was going from the oem tires to these I would probably be going "wow , what a difference", but since I went from the Yokohama S Drives to these the difference is not so dramatic.
they should start gripping much better after the release lube wears off.
DW's are one of the few great tires made outside of Japan. be sure to clean the sidewalls well before applying some dressing.

for the Fit, i think the DWS (DRY, WET, SNOW) is better suited for overall, but obviously you guys out there in CA dont really see much snow anyway.
i run DW's on my other car.

Yes, gave the wheels/tires a good scrub when I got home. Felt a little slippy at first, but I have about 100 miles on them now, grip is improving.
Tire Rack lists the DW's as a closeout- don't know if Continental is changing them and getting rid of old stock or what. Discount Tire (where I got this set from) doesn't say why the price is lower. Just glad I got them for the price.
TireRack recommended this stuff to me and it worked, but RC car motor spray (nitro cleaner) worked even better to clean off the release lube and mounting lube off the sidewalls.

is that on certain sizes or all DW's? i'd get them while it lasts. they are good tires.
For my wife's car I am getting the Continental PureContact with EcoPlus Technology 215/55/17 these tires were highly rated. The one thing I found was that trying to find tires to fit the 12 sport wheels without the speedo being off greatly was not easy as to brands. I would of gotten the 205/55/16 same as my wife since I can put upwards of 30k a year on the car.
I just looked at random sizes for the DW on Tire Rack, and it looks like just the 205/50/16 is what they are closing out, all other sizes I looked at are at their regular price.
