Ssk 031 16" x 6.5 +38

Test fitted these wheels today that I bought about 5 years ago for my 1999 Civic Hatch. Basically cheap knock offs of Volks. The currently have bald 215/45R16 Falken Azenis RT615 tires on them. They appear to fit with clearance all around so the next course of action is to see if the TPMS sensors will fit inside the wheels and then buy a new set of tires.

Well for anyone who cares, the TPMS sensors do fit the SSK 031 wheels so they should work ok. This is with stock springs/ride height so no guarantees if the car is lowered.

After some hard thinking on cost vs. want for a different than oem wheel/tire combo, I sided with the added longevity and good reviews of Continental's ExtremeContact DW. I have base model steel wheels/wheel covers with Michelin X-Ice snows so these are fine being summer only. The difference in price was fairly significant as I purchased the Continental's from Discount Tire Direct for $384 shipped and that included a $100 Visa discount card so basically $72 a tire shipped. I went with 205/50R16 to be put on the stock Sport wheels. The other option would have required 4 new TPMS sensors as I wasn't going to take them off of my stock wheels/tires so basically around $150 give or take for that and the 215/45R16 I was going to get the Falken Azenis RT-615Ks and that would have set me back around $450 shipped.

I think your setup looks good. Not bad at all. I think a subtle drop would really make the car stand out.
